View Full Version : CU vs Wazzou

And naturally, I have to work during the game. :cuss:
I'm taping the game, but the dillemma is, do I sneak the radio in to work to listen to the game or do I ignore all knowledge of the game and watch it when I get home (~4:30).
BTW, CU 27, Wazzou 21.

Is this a makeup from the 2001 game that was cancelled due to 9/11? If so, it's mighty ironic that it will be played on 9/11/04.
Klatt needs to be a whole lot better against WSU than he was against CSU for the Buffs to win.

Klatt should rebound. I gotta admit, he had me a little worried last week. That said, I think a lot of it had to do with the WR jitters. Now that they've all experienced a game, they should be better and hopefully more relaxed. Plus, Barnett said that this was the main thing they worked on practice this week.

This game has been atrocious. If not for WSU receivers having a case of the dropsies this one would likely be out of reach. Klatt looks shaky, Purify had a 65 yard TD run called back on a holding call (he just fumbled to give the Cougars the ball at the CU 30), no receiver seems to be able to get open and Brian Iwuh left with a high ankle sprain.
Somehow it's tied 3-3. CU's luck isn't gonna hold forever, they'd better get it in gear offensively or this one is gonna get away from them.

They finally move the ball (Judge made a teriffic catch) and Crosby's kick gets blocked.
Ugly, ugly game.

WSU misses another field goal.
It looks like it's gonna come down to who stinks up the field less in the 2nd half.

What a ugly game this one was. And yet, it comes down to another goalline stand by the buffs. Dizon once again has a huge game causing the fumble at the 1 to seal the game. CU's Defense was great today minus a couple plays that they got toasted on. What can you say about the Offense. That was pathetic. Oh well, a win is a win. Bring on North Texas!

OMG That was one of the ugliest games I have ever seen. CU better get that O together because that D can't continue to play on such a high level and get that many turnovers.
That CU kicker has got one hell of a leg though, to bad he kicked the ball into the back of his lineman on that one FG attempt.
It's a win, the defense and special teams were awesome while the offense looked like the chiefs defense against the colts.

Klatt's been horrible since the 1st half of the CSU game. I doubt White could have done any worse if Barnett had given him a shot at some point in the game.

Wow. Just, um, wow. I decided to tape it and watch it when I got home. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go drink.
Buffaloes, Buffaloes, Go C-U!

Crosby is pretty funny though. He has asked for a shot to attempt a 70 yard field goal. In Boulder, I presume.
Nice to see CU still win. I agree, very ugly game but one on the road against a formidable opponent no less.
Klatt has severely disappointed me this season. He played better last season when his OL was swiss cheese and allowing anybody and everybody to hit him in the mouth. This year they are actually blocking decently and he can't hit an open WR to save his life.
Colorado doesn't look like a team that should contend for the big 12 North title... then again, have you looked at the big 12 north? ITS WEAK! ha ha. CU has as good a chance as anybody to win this division. Big 12 is general looks really weak this year, except OU.
