Last I knew about this, Worm was thinking about trying to set something up at his place in the Warehouse District....although I could have that wrong and it has been awhile.....

Best I can tell ya is to research the Saints game thread for verification of that and then PM worm and see what he says, if it's still a go, etc.

Np.....I'm on it. Hey Alec I'm picking your ass up. Don't suppose there are any nice RV lots off of Bourbon street? 8') We need to run a satellite image to see who has a nice yard nearby kinda like Frank's setup at the HOF.... lmao

Yeah Meck, worm is supposed to hook us up but if not I got a backup plan in place. The dude I got the tickets from has the hookup on the spot. He knows about the bus and the group we have and said there is a spot like 2 blocks away PERFECT for what we want.

Id rather set this up at worm's though since he offered. I think worm hangs out at the freak and I will see about getting in touch with him.

Hi guys, quick question, I am planning to go to this game but was wondering if you had a good source for tickets? The one's that are still available on the Ticketmaster site suck.

Thanks for any help.

I have sources for home tickets but not away tickets. Only thing that comes off the top of my head is ebay but people probably aren't selling those until the game get's closer. Never know.

In our second annual, away game trip myself, brother, father, and cousin have aquired tickets to the Broncos @ Saints. We will be in section 155. We plan to drive, and will be leaving at 12:30 P.M. on the 19th. I am in the process of securing a hotel. If anyone knows of safe, decent areas let me know.

We are definitley wanting to hook up with the party at Orange Force One.

Also, we purchased our tickets for $59 a pop on ebay. Do a search on Denver Broncos @ New Orleans Saints. I dealt with a seller name dlhunt1. He has four more tickets that are located right next to ours. Having 8 broncos fans in row would be awesome.

Since I am flying from upsate NY I had to book flight and hotel kind of early in order to get a good price. So I went on priceline.com and got 2 plane tix and 3 nights at the Mariott for $800. I guess the Mariott (downtown) is only 1/2 a mile from the superdome, so it seemed like a good place, plus it is .01 miles from Harrahs casino so that sealed the deal for me. If anyone is familiar w/ the area, let me know if this is a convienent spot to be staying at, and also, I would assume taking cabs is a lot easier than renting a car??? Any help would be appreciated.

Thats a good spot Greg. They dont build Marriot's in bad neighborhoods dude ;D

I saw worm here the other day but it didnt occur to me to talk to him. Forgot about it. I dont think worm's spot is in the warehouse district, I was under the impression it was right near the Superdome.

Whatever, if Jim(worm) cant swing the party, we do have a second place to meet up. The Bus! I cant wait to see what you've got Meck. Are you good to go on wireless networking? I wanna bring my laptop and you will need a wireless router for me to use the internet!

God damn Im all excited about this

There is a wireless router for the bus - it wasn't hooked up this weekend, but by the Saints game it should be....

I know that NO isn't so much a tailgating town...but why couldn't we show 'em how it's done anyway? Probably would confuse the heck out of the parking lot attendants ;)

Perhaps someone should contact Joe Cahn (The tailgating commissioner) he's from down there - maybe he or his people could hook us up with some information about what to do now?

This is a great place to stay. It is about 4 blocks from my front door (I live 1 block away from Harrahs casino).

Don't get a car. Everything is walkable once you take a cab or shuttle from the airport.

It would allow more than just those familar with this site to experience OF1 and the pregame festivities.

Thanks Worm...We were worried about you there for a bit, since we hadn't heard from you about anything as of late...

I know that the rooftop party would be fun, but I think that having a spot where most everyone would be able to see things would make it that much better...

A lot of people will be coming to this game that haven't necessarily been able to experience a Broncos home game, so why not treat it like it is one? Have a real Broncos tailgate...

Someone said that they were talking to a saint's fan & they are trying to get people to start tailgating...Perhaps calling up the superdome/parking attendants would be a place to start...make sure that they would have a place for a 40' vehicle to park & tailgate...We have pictures up of the tailgate on orangeforceone.com -- you could show them what the Broncos do for us...We would just need an RV-type spot...

Anyway, just a few ideas! :)

I've been to Nawlins' several times and the tailagting scene is absolutely awful. I guess they feel you can go to the French Qtr prior to the game. The Marriot is only a $4-6 cab ride from the dome.
If you want to contact Joe Cahn, his website is at Tailgating.com, which has parking info!
We usually stay in a bed and breakfast in the Garden district. If you're interested I'll get info for you. It's quieter and the put out an awesome breakfast and afternoon open bar!

Yeh the only problem with tailgating.com is that they don't respond very quickly to emails -- Meck sent one when he got back from Canton & I sent one a few weeks ago - neither of us have a response!

I do have his mobile # - maybe someone could give him a call?

If you do give him a call, ask Joe why he isn't comin' to Mile High this year. He stopped by the past couple of years, but I don't see us on the schedule.
One thing I would suggest is calling the "folks" at Harrahs to see if they would sponsor a spot in their lot. It's right at the end of Canal street, near the french market. Lots of exposure!!!!! I don't think parking for the "bus" will be avaiable at the stadium, although with connections there may be a possibility.
Have you tried the "aint's" web-site. Maybe you can disguise yourself as an out-of-town aint's fan and buy some passes.
Another possibility would be SMC, I believe it's the same mgt. co. which screws up the parking at Mile High!

I plugged around on the ain'ts website & the superdome's website - the superdome's website did give me a number, I may just call & see what we can work out.

Even though it's not listed on the schedule, Joe is doing a fly-in to Denver for some special with foodtv...He does have to go around to the other stadiums though too, that's why he's not "coming to Denver" this year...Last year he drove to Denver, flew to Seattle & then flew back for the MNF game against the Raiders...

Id like to get everyone who is going to this game to PM me with some contact info for the weekend's activities.

Cell phones, screen names on yahoo or MSN or AIM messengers, anything so that I can contact you once in New Orleans. If we have some way of getting a hold of everyone we can plan this out better and make sure everyone knows where to go.

Also, is the Orange Force One crew going to be in New Orleans on Saturday? Cause I had this idea that if we are all going to be spending the weekend there, then we can meet up at worms on Saturday, have our party with the keg there and figure out the tailgating business for Sunday from his house. The rooftop thing sounds like a great idea to just toss away, though I cant see not partying on the Bus since Meck went through the trouble of hooking the bad boy up. If at all possible, I would like to make both things happen. I cant see going there for a single day...its New Orleans for God's sakes! I imagine most will be there for the weekend.

I have four tickets for sale to the Nov. 21 game in New Orleans. I had to go back and purchase 5 tickets because a 5th friend wanted go, so now I have 4 I cannot use.

The tickets are in section 155 row 24 and of course they are together. I purchased them off of ebay for 59 each. That is what I would like to sell them for. Here is the orginal listing. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...item=2266729546

If i dont sell them here i will try on ebay. Let me know, and if someone from here purchases them I hope to see you at the game. Instant Message me on Yahoo. My id is flynzebra.

For those of you still looking for tickets...if anyone...
I just got a mailer from the Saints/Broncos...
It says "A special discounted ticket offer for Broncos Season Ticket Holders!"
I'm not a season ticket holder, so I figure that I'll pass this on to y'all, since obviously, you don't have to be a season ticket holder to get it.

Anyway...the deal is - the terrace sideline seats, which are usually 65 are going for 40 with a 3$ handling fee. Or the Field Level Endzone is 85.

You can phone your orders to David Goldberg (504) 731-1885
Fax them to Attn David (504) 522-1692
or email them to goldbergd@saints.nfl.com

or if you want to be all old fashioned about it, there is a mailing address - but I'm not sure if you'll need this form? All orders must be recieved by Fri Nov 19 @ 5pm CST.

Just an FYI. :) Hope this helps anyone who might have thought they couldn't afford tickets or that they weren't still available! :)

Hey greg.

I saw this at work but for some reason the Mane is really slow at my work so I didnt respond.

Here's the plan, as far as I know (if this isnt the plan, someone fill me in).

Meck and BlueDamsel and the Denver OF1 crew are picking me and my friend up here in Tejas on Friday night or Saturday morning. We are driving to NO right after that. We will all meet up at worm's house/loft/condo/townhome/warehouse/whatever because he has so graciously invited us all over for food and beer (I think he mentioned something about buying all the booze ;D Ha! no im kidding worm).

That will be on Saturday.

Sunday morning we are going to either go to the place Worm has picked out or a place the guy who got me the tickets knows about that is perfect for the Bus. Either way, we will figure it all out.

Worm, send me directions to your crib and I will forward them along to all those who are going to go in their own method of transportation (basically whoever needs it).

Special thanks go out to Meck77, BlueDamsel, worm, and Hogan11, without whom this shindig would not be possible. Meck for bringing the Denver crew and OF1, BlueDamsel for organizing all this sh*t cause lord knows nothign would get done if it were up to me, worm for offering us a place to hang out and meet and drink a bit the day before hand and Hogan for inspiring me to go to the New Orleans game last year.

Oh and man, we are gonna have some Halo 2 action on the bus! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Alrighty...
After some phone calls & some fanagaling, we have it set up so we can throw down a tailgate the REAL way...

I'm not sure what the plan is for Saturday night, or where we're all meeting up, but on Sunday we're going to get to the Stadium kind of early (they open the lot at 5 am...) and will be tailgating in full Broncos fashion. We've cleared it with the parking manager that we can park in Lot #4, we will have the grill going, food, and beer. As always, we'll have a donation bin for those who would like to contribute.

If anyone has any questions or cannot find us, please pm me or "OrangeForceOne" on the board, and I'll try to get back to you with information.

New Orleans might be known for their partying, but we'll show them how it's really done!!!! Look forward to meeting you all/seeing you again!

Any percent chance of rain means rain. What you may not be aware of is that it usually means is spot showers, once or maybe twice a day for about 10 minutes at a time.

Bring an umbrella just in case, but make sure you bring deodorant. You yankees may not be used to the humidity ;D

This is Alec chiming in.

First things first.

There is no place to have a tailgate party quite like New Orleans. This place rocks. If you have never been I highly suggest that you come soon and amke arrangements to drink a Hurricane from Pat O'Briens (the original place for hurricanes) and at Tropical Isle for a hand grenade.

Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades and this place's hand grenades (a drink "The strongest drink in New Orlenas") just kicks ass.

Ok so Hogan11, Sassy and Meck and BlueDamsel and even that fake ass Fade fan Crow are mad cool people to party with. This place rocks. Come to new orleans as soon as possible.

I know its only 12:30 but you know Bourbon street can get you so ****ed up in such a short amount of time that 9 o'clock seems early and you are lucky to make it to 12:30. Or at least I was.

Ha!

Just how many hurricane glasses did you end up with Alec?

6, though 3 of them were mine and 3 were Thanh's.

Just wanted to chime in here and thank everyone involved for a great weekend..

That's what it's all about brother.... good people. I can tell you the OrangeMane has them.

Thanks for helping out with the beer and your contribuition. Here's a funny little story about these guys. GSRelyea and his posse were rolling down the street with a few cases of Coors Light on the way to the tailgate when they ran into the Coors light event rep. So Greg and his crew invite the guy to OF1 and the party and he joined us! We swapped cards and he said "Whatever you guys need we can help". Ofcourse I said "BEER!!!!!!" The guy gave us a huge stack of Coors Lights hats and I'm pretty sure most people at the party got one.

Anyhow I'm going to give the Coors man a call today and see what happens.

Thanks for the connection!

I didn't get a hat. :(

Probably because the fella that was handing them out was a Broncos fan. I got some extras. They are pretty sweet actually. They say coors light on them and I think they have an nfl logo if I'm not mistaken.

I'll have Damsel pop one in the mail to you. Which bridge do we send that to? hmmm...

I moved out from under the bridge. The gar were getting to aggressive.

I saw a great dumpster just off of Bourbon Street, though. I need to find out if someone already lives there. :ipimp:

I didn't either....he started to come my way, saw me holding a Bud Light and then turned around Ha! It's ok, I hate Coors Light anyways...

I don't know why, but I had an urge to yell out to him "Hey Man, you can't flag the King!!" Ha!

Hey Crow...you should never mingle with the fans of a rival team a week before the game! Ha! ;D That'll teach ya! Ha!

Could I introduce a bill to the Orangemane legislation? I think we should take crow's boa pic, cut me out of it and put it on the front page of the Mane.

All if favor say Aye...........

Or what a second maybe we should wait until after the game.......hmmmm

I'm going to do my best to get some raider fan pain shots during the 3rd and 4th quarter to post. Maybe we could use those instead. I think ole Crow has been beaten up enough.

Well, just keep in mind, I have access to pics of you too. I also know some photo editting cats who could do you some serious injustice.

Just an FYI. ;)

BTW, where at raiderfans.net did you post that hideous pic?

We're not blaming this loss on the officiating, are we? Tell me you're not serious. We got hosed a couple times by the zebras as well, so that's no excuse. Bailey just got outmatched.
