According to BTROOP, when the Con thing went down, too many of us went into our user CP at once and that caused the site to go funky. Didn't know that there were -that- many people that had access to SR's to suck up that much bandwidth. It seems strange (now this is just me speculating) that SRs gets shutdown on a day when a bunch of crap happens, including the Forums crashing for some reason, and we're told that SR is gone but it "has nothing to do with Yesterday" ?! Yo, sorry I didn't see this earlier. To make this short, Con was banned from the NFL Talk forum for two days. Con changed her user title to ban and about three or four others members got bent thinking she was banned from the site. Then several members starting playing around in their CP. Mysteriously after that the forum crashes.

After that, Con got banned and after the other 3 or 4 started posting about mutiny, they got banned. Con is not banned anymore. Crow is not banned anymore and I think the other 2 or 3 are not banned anymore.

This was a ridiculous situation and it needs to be put behind us. As far as sugar ray, I don't know much about it but I am sure Death or Sports can provide more detailed information about it taking up alot of bandwidth. I was a computer technician on submarines and I can tell you that a massive amount of photos adds up to a whole lot of space. There are others on this fourm that know about computers that can vouch for that I'm sure.

I hope I answered your questons boris and lynch. The regular season can't get here fast enough.

DD sent me a reply and said he's told them of the problem with a few people logging in.

This board is great, the only problem is that most people on here are fans of Denver or fans of Denver's rivals. It might be more active, but it just doesn't have a large range of fans from different teams. But this place really has been a life saver, it would really be hard to communicate had we not had another board to go to. I'm not saying I like TC or whoever decide to blame us for crashing the forum, but it had a nice little board there for NFC North fans.

It's one thing when someone steps on an admins fragile little toes. Right or wrong, the admin has top say. But when it's a top 10 poster who hurts his eggshell ego, he should have the BALLS to let everyone know wtf happened. When people come to the defense of this top 10 poster, including the #1 poster on the board and they get banned too, it becomes a much bigger ball of bullsh!t. Again, out of respect for the friends they've made, you should say something. Instead, you alienate more people by shutting down one of the most popular forums going and again.... NO EXPLANATION.
