Ok all, I just got back from the first night of tailgating - mostly setting up. It's midnight but i'm getting ready to start off the festivities with the pictures that I took so far. More to come probably tomorrow or ahh whenever. Just wanted to get this thread started with pics right now, my thoughts maybe tomorrow - i'm beat and haven't eaten dinner so....

Thanks. I'd do more tonight but i'm flippin beat - seeing triples right now. Plus, I didn't have my camera with me the first time I showed up so by the time I brought down the garbage cans cooler and other stuff, the sun was dropping. Hence the low light conditions.

This is the largest internet fan site for the Broncos and we are gathering on Blake rd right behind the stadium!!! Im still counting the days when i finally fly over to Denver for a game and i still want to tailgate with you guys!

Anyway, i'll raise a beer to John Elway tomorrow when i sit and watch the HoF ceremony and remember the great memories. I think i might put on Super Bowl 32 or 33 to remember his greatest days. On monday i'll be staying up late (kick off will be 1am early tuesday morning over here in the UK) so dont know if i will make work on tuesday lol.

:USA: Awsome Pics, !!! My buddy Nick and his Friend Jet 19 are there! Just talked to them and they said about 40 + people are there tailgating, WOW ! To bad I had to work at Invesco Field the past 2 days and missed the Induction !! The sad thing about it !! There were no Bronco Fans in the parking lot or anywhere around all day !! After viewing the pics, I am tempted to quit my last year of graduate school, forget my profession, trade my degree for any an RV, pull out my old Simon Fletcher jersey and wait for 2009 to swing around - Shannon, Shannon, Shannon!!! Sup guys, just wanted to comment on the board... got back into town from Canton and what can you say... the HOF cerimony was awesome, the game was good but sloppy, however the tailgating was THE BEST! I have mad pictures to put on the web but it is going to have to wait until tonight. I have work later today and like I said, I just spent all night driving back from Canton to St. Louis, rougly an 8 and half hour drive with no sleep and wearing off my buzz... it was rough and mad it was a marathon but what a great time. I wouldn't trade it for the world.

I met a bunch of members from OMane down there. Meck was there, Disco was there... both really cool guys. CBF1 was there as was Jet. There was a bunch of people, like I said, I'll start posting some of those pictures when I get a chance... now I need some ZZZzZzzzzzz...

It would great to see you guys all down and if some of you didn't make it out this time its all good... there will be plenty more of this in the future. Can't say enough what a great job Meck did organizing this thing. Mad props to you brother.

what can i say?

these last couple days have been difficult for me.
not only is my new job alot more stressfull and alot more hours, but the BULK of it came this past weekend.

as offsite sale forced me to work sunday (though i broke the shirt and tie dresscode and wore a bronco shirt), and the paperwork from the weekend (more than ive ever seen in a decade) forced me to work monday....even at night.
i almost quit over it. gut check time.

sadly though, without the money from work, there is no money to fund my trips home for all the games in denver.

anyway, im just checking in briefly, since i have another mountain of paperwork burying me standing today also.

even my wife, as much grief as she gives me for my obsession for the broncos, shed a tear with me when the tape of elways speech clicked off halfway through (she tried to record it for me, but missed the end, and i saw only part of it at work).

when i asked her why SHE was crying too, she just said:

"i just know how much this means to you honey. you shouldve been there. thanks for taking care of your family. i love you."

that made it okay.

thanks to all of you who posted pic's, and thanks for representing those of us that were absent.
i was with you in spirit, every step of the way.

...and now the season is underway.
a season filled with hope, and the promise of the next generation of hero's to wear the (predominantly) orange and blue.
a season when we all hope for a return to glory.
a team that can reinvent the orange crush.
a quarterback that will never equal or even come close to being as much a hero to us as the great Elway, but none the less, a quarterback that if you squint just hard enough, might at least remind us a bit of what was.

Just finished unpacking Harvey the RV from a great weekend for all Bronco fans. To Meck77, Disco, Taco John, Elway04HOF, Jet19, Big56fan, Darkhorse and too many other great Orangemaners to mention-----Thanks for a great weekend. You people all were great. I couldn't make the gate Saturday night, I was supposed to be going out with Ashley... however they ended up having meetings longer then expected and couldn't make it. Me and my buddy also had drove throughout the night to make it to Canton in time for the induction ceremony so when Ashley said he couldn't make it out to dinner that night, me and my buddy basically crashed in our hotel room from exhaustion... the 8 and half hour drive on the midnight run plus being out in the sun and having some beers took the life out of me. Sorry I missed you bro, but if this past weekend is evident of anything, I'll be doing this a lot more in the future! You guys don't understand how it was living in Hawaii and not being able to be around your own people! It sucks! THis weekend was amazing! Back to the pictures! I hope you all are enjoying them... I just wanted to show you all one more picture. I'm sure a lot of you know that me and Ashley are good buddies but I wanted to let you know that I have another good friend on the team this year as well! His name is <a href="http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/237058" target="_blank"><a href="http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/237058" target="_blank">Luis Almanzar</a></a>. Ashley and I played in high school and at UH together, however after my sophemore year of college I transferred to Southwest Missouri State University. Luis was one of the first guys that I met there and he himself was a transfer from the University of Nebraska. He didn't have to do some of the things he did for me when I was in Springfield, MO. He is one of the best guys you will ever meet! He brought me in at SMS and really made me feel like a part of the family and in that regard I will always be thankful to him. He's been bouncing around the NFL a little bit over the past couple years with STL, Pittsburg, and Seattle and he has been with Denver since the offseason. I'm hoping he can show enough to stick and from watching him on the sidelines it really looks like Neil Smith has been trying to coach him up. He has talent he just doesn't have the big name pedigree that some of these other guys might have. Anyways, if you guys see him around Denver definately make him feel welcomed. I know he would be honored and priveledged to wear the orange and blue... he is keeping his fingers crossed this summer that this will be the year he breaks through and makes the squad.

Just thought I would share that story with you all. He is a great, great guy and nobody deserves a chance more then this guy. I hope he gets a chance to show what he can do!

BD, just go to "post reply". There should be some button at the bottom of the reply sheet that post picture. Just click on that, a little screen will pop up and have you "browse" your computer. Locate your file, upload it and you are done! Not too hard you just have to get the hang of it. Watch your size though, if the pictures are too big they won't attach.

Hey folks, great time in Canton, was a blast. Meck, bpc, taco, whoever else i met and missed it was great meeting you guys. It made the long drive from New Jersey a little more bearable with a good tailgate. You would all love to hear that i brought along my friend who is a true blue Giants fan and after it was all over we almost had him converted to the broncos. He said anytime I go out west for a Bronco game he will go. A couple more tailgates and we might have him. I have no clue how I missed you guys in Canton, but I did. Guess I was parked on the wrong street, even though these pictures look like the neighborhood my buddy and I were in. I kept walking around looking for orangemane signs, but must have missed ya. :(

Had a great time...was even lucky enough to be walking through a parking lot when some fine ladies come pulling up in a fleet of minivans. Turns out they were the ladies who escort the Hall members on stage. I was standing there like a boob with my tongue hanging out. I bet they were real impressed...I'm sure the restraining order I was issued was meant as a compliment. By the looks of those women, I'd have loved for them to be my "escort," if you know what I mean! :)

This is by far one of the best fan photo's of the weekend. I remember the Hogetts walking down the street in front of us and the O-Mane faithful walking up to them face to face. Looked like it was gonna be a classic rumble but we all turned and posed.

I know I was barking out requests (for clean-up, beer runs, bbq grilling, trash duty, flag pole repair) quite a bit but there is no way we could have pulled this off without the support of ALL of you who pitched in. I saw pics in here of places that I never got to see one being the HOF itself. Somehow I just couldn't tear myself away from the party!

I have a few hundred pics myself but it looks like you guys have alot of the bases covered. I'll have mine up on Friday.

Meeting all of you and seeing John get in the HOF makes me proud to be a Broncos fan. I also want to thank all the other Broncos fans who we met along the way during the 4 day tailgate party!!. I hope you enjoy the site and contribute your thoughts and pictures.

There was a point on Monday that the tailgate was simply running at full speed and just below pure chaos. It is a testament to the character of Broncos fans that the party went off without any conflicts other than a couple of minor discussions. :cuss: ~ohyah!:

I don't know about you guys but I plan on going to Canton next year to celebrate the anniversary of John getting in hall. I'm going to call Frank "The Man with the land" and reserve the spot. I don't care if there isn't another Broncos player in the hall or not next year. That is just one cool place to cook up some beef and meet great people.

Hey NY I want to also thank you personally for making the tailgate continue. If it wasn't for NY the party would have grinded to a screaching hault. You see we had tapped out the first keg and there was a plea for MORE BEER. Broncos fans all chipped in some cash but nobody would make the drive. NY stepped up to the plate and made the run.

It's really hard to describe the scene that was going on but it was a constant flux of orange and faces. I hadn't had more than a couple of hours sleep a night and obviously had my share of some beers but there was one moment that I was talking to NyBroncoManiax and I might have even been looking him right in the face when I yelled out "Where is NyBroncoManiax". He say's "((((((MECK RIGHT HERE))))) and I think I was looking right at him :crazy: . LMFAO

In my defense just about every darn Broncos fan was in an Elway Jersey.

Anyway thanks for helping out NY and I'm glad you and your son had fun. There is no way that we could have pulled this off without guys like you making it happen.

Hi all! What a great site and what an AWESOME WEEK at Canton!! I was so lucky to be there, and thought I would share some photos for everyone to see. I met the guys at the RV on Friday and really enjoyed whooping it up with you guys! I am a Native of Denver, loved the Broncos for all of my life (I watched Tensi and Liske duke it out in the early days), and am so glad to hook up with those like me who bleed orange and blue! I live now in Louisville, Kentucky and am dying for someone to tell me how to get HOF stuff from Denver???
