I can't believe the DNC or Kerry let that Bimbo speak for half an hour.

Unbelievable. I didn't think Ted Kennedy would soak up that much time.

Man. Talking about how poor she grew up?

What did she do but catch a big fish?

I wonder what the late Senator Heinz is thinking in his Grave.

Well, she touched a lot of nationalities and she can galvanize the women voters reguardless of how much money she has now. She came across as a person who can talk to the world. Thats powerful stuff.

I'm more impressed by her than Hillary or any of the other wives of candidates or former presidents.

You have to be kidding me.

Beezer couldn't stand her screeching desecration of the English language and self patronizing about her poor poor youth.

I coached Beezlebub down from the roof. True story. He is a roof hopper, I have no clue how he does it.

All she did was act like women were being treated like trash, she never talked any policy, she didn't even mention her husband till 15 minutes in her speech.

WTF are you talking about?

She's worth 600 billion, on her second husband, has three mansions and talks about womens rights?

Her late husband picked up a hottie a couple decades ago. She isn't even functionally literate.

Of course, Bush isn't either sometimes, but....

She's got a different story to tell and that's is what people want. Not the same old stuff. It's probably hard for you to listen or see both sides with non-bias but, I don't have a problem with it. I will be watching the Republicans the same way as i'm watching the Democrats.

Her speech wasn't exciting but, she told the truth without reading a teleprompter or at least that's what I thought. The mere fact that she can speak to all the hispanic people is huge... Think about California, Texas, Florida & New York... all of them have large latino or hispanic communities... Laura cant reach them!

Man, I thought she was terrible. That was one of the worst speeches I've ever seen, ever!

If I was a Democrat sitting in that convention after seeing Obama energize the audience, and then be subjected to a self serving speech that was hard to follow because of her effed up cadence... I'd demand my money back. or something.

That speech was a disaster, and watch... It'll upstage the keynote in the news tomorrow. The story of the night should have been the political birth of rising star Barak Obama, but instead, it'll be about what a horrible, horrible, awful, just plain terrible speech Mrz. Tereza Hinez Kerry dupmed on stage.

I too thought she was more effective than Hillary....but that's not saying she was great by any means.

No worries Taco....nobody is gonna forget that Obama speech tonight........nobody.

I just find it amusing that certain people thought her speech wasn't a disaster.

How amusing.

Hillary was a screacher who bombed as well.

So far, Obama (I'm a little uncomfortable with someone who's name is O Bomb A) and Clinton gave a classic speech where he framed policy without really giving any policy, leaving it to Kerry. It was classic.

Sharpton will destroy Obama's speech tommorow night if anyone cares to watch.

Al sharpton is an idiot! Any Black Man who goes to a debate and draws a conclusion Using the planting of Watermelon Seeds and getting Oranges on national television should be relegated to stepping off of the sidewalk when a white man heads in his direction! **** Al Sharpton he's an embarassment. Obama has given a glimpse of what Black people truly think. Sharpton is full of shiat!

I reserve the right to change my mind if Sharpton backs off of the old rhetoric that he's been spewing for the last 5 years!

Nobody will ever take Sharpton seriously.........he's the equivelent to Pat Robertson or Pat Buchanon speaking at the GOP conventions in the 90's....nobody listened to them then, no one will listen to Al now.

I read that Falwell is scheduled for the Republican convention... after his post-911 comments, his bigoted views do not reflect well on the GOP, IMHO. Featuring him prominently, while it may gratify the extreme religious right... carries a big risk of backfiring on them.

Interesting. I thought she was great. Very heartfelt. Strong. Nothing like Laura "Stepford" Bush.

I agree she was horrible. I turned it off after a bit because it was so bad.

Mrs. Bush would kick her ass in a debate.

The conventions are basically 4 night circle jerk for the parties. Constant infomercials and mindless pablum.

I don't watch them after watching a few. If something interesting happened, I'll catch it on the news...

I do wonder if ABC and the other 2 major networks will put on as many fluff pieces about Bush as they did/do about Kerry (judging from the news and morning shows, not from watching the convention). I imagine there'll be more critical pieces than positive..
