I'm interested in everyone's thoughts on who was the best villain in the "Rocky" films?

I voted clubber. He never turned good. Drago went goody goody, Apollo did the same.

Drago by a mile. You have to remember where this country was in 1985. The Cold war was still on and the Ruskies were the big bad enemy. People were going nuts in the theatre during the fight. I remember people chanting "USA, USA" at the end of this film. They made him so over the top evil it was tremendous. Plus Drago was on the juice and working out in the lab while our hero was lifting an oxcart full of his loved ones and carrying big rocks. WTF? They didn't have weights in the USSR?

I'm of the opinion Drago was the only "villain" in all the films.

Creed=Big headed superstar
Lang=Flava Clown
Gunn=Mildly retarded pupil who has a falling out with his master.

All great characters, but not evil to the core like Drago.

Clubber - he hated evrybody. He propositioned Adrian. The only disappointment was that he got beat in three rounds. He should've gone longer

and although I liked both, Rocky III had a better theme song (eye of the tiger) than IV (burning heart)
