There. That should bring you up to speed.
First thing there might be true. But come on, I never said that I thought that the girl that posted here were ugly. All I said was that a bunch of guys were scaring off pretty ones that post there pics here. Now i'm not saying that the girls that aren't sacred off are ugly. It just means that the girls that do stay have thicker skin pretty or not.

Bad boy image? Ladies, I will be the first to admit that you ever saw me in person you would find that I'm as threatening as wonder bread with the crusts cut off.
My choice of teams is due to my affection for my father growing up and my admiration of Al Davis and what he has traditionally stood for. I have as much tolerance for wannabe "gangsta" tough guys as you do and I'm also smart enough to realize that NFL team affiliation IS NOT a factor in determining a person's character.
Except for Jamie, of course.

As it stands right now, I agree too. I have faith, however, that the Raiders will address that side of the ball.
Supposedly, Anthony Simmons has scheduled a visit. While other people have been screaming about the Raiders' defensive line, I've held that it was the linebacking corps (excluding Danny Clark) that really let us down last year. Adding a guy like Simmons would certainly count as addressing that weakness.
That said, what the hell does all of this football talk have to do with chicks who want to meet 18-25 single Bronco fans? Let's try not to hijack this thread, fellas...

So my volleyball league started up the other day. I play volleyball competitively. My biggest gripe about volleyball leagues has ALWAYS been that it is the one sport that everyone thinks they can play.
"Hey, I'm starting up a basketball team..." = "Nah, I can't even dribble."
"Hey, I'm starting up a hockey team..." = "Nah, I can't skate."
"Hey, I'm starting up a football team..." = "Nah, I can't catch."
"Hey, I'm starting up a volleyball team..." = "Oh, hey! I played that at my church picnic three years ago and I was pretty darned good!"
No, most people ARE NOT. Very frustrating.
Anyway, some of my teammates aren't the best volleyball players you've ever seen so our opening night double-header saw me diving for a save on the second hit entirely too often.
Yesterday and today has made me realize something...
Jamie,
I know that over the last couple of months you've decided that my humor and wit were irresistable enough that you were willing to overlook the fact that I'm married and I'm a Raider fan... but I have to tell you that I just don't meet your demographic. I'm not 18-25, as my sore body reminds me every time I move. No, please don't cry, Jamie. This has nothing to do with you. It's my fault or maybe it just wasn't meant to be. Just remember that this, too, shall pass... and you will surely one day recover and love again.

I play bball every Thursday and I usually end up with some sort of malady the next morning or that night
I woke up with a sore shoulder this morning and I have no idea why or how my shoulder go hurt

Hey, I'm completely down for an Orangemane dating service... just so long as nobody tells my wife, it doesn't cost me any money, and I don't ever have to meet or be particularly nice to anybody.
When do we work on our personal ads? My rough draft goes like this:
"F*** you, you internet sleaze bag. You're probably a 56 year old plumber, sitting around with your ass-crack hanging out, hating what your life's become, and hoping that I'm an impressionable 14 year old girl that you can lure across state lines for sex with the promise of free cigarettes and Mad Dog 20/20. Well, I'm not. I'm a guy who wants nothing to do with you and thinks that you're disgusting. I hope the Feds catch you and throw you in Federal 'pound you in the ass' prison. Die, f***er. Die. Interested? Serious replies only, please."

What words would a mere man like myself say to a woman? If i compare her to a sunset, it isn't fair. For a woman's true beauty looks even more stunning than the colours that paint the sky come dusk? If i compare her to a flower, it is unjust - for the beauty a woman bestows is nothing short of breathtaking and doesn't wilt, but extends and expounds her beauty in more rich a texture than any flower. the only thing i can bestow upon ye women, is that everything that god has created upon earth and in the heavens that shows beauty, is merley a poor replication of a smile freely given to me by such a woman.

Oh but i am that guy mtbrncofn - To me nothing is more beautiful than when a woman is herself. I don't like to let people know too much that i can spin honey laced words - i save some of that stuff for the women i really appreciate. Although - I do like to drop that stuff from time to time just to make a woman smile.
My dad told me in 9th grade the best line that works for a girl thinking of bedding down with you. "I am a Man, you are a woman, we can make adult decisions!" He said even if you and the girl are 15 he said it worked. Damn pops started early with the BS. But stick with your sappy words amrsj. If you want respect and no sex for awhile, you got it good.

I have a very good friend in the Washington Park area of Denver who's single, and wants a wife and kids ... he's even okay with meeting a woman who already has children of her own.
He's a tall, slim, good looking caucasian, and VERY financially secure (owns several houses). At 47, he's actually clear to retire if he wants, and he's talked about maybe even relocating. I've known him since I was 6 years old, and I believe he has the best heart of near anyone I've ever met.
No catches here, 100% on the up and up. I suppose he's not the most exciting personality in the world, but he's one of the best (and a big Broncos fan). If anybody knows a single woman in Denver .... PM me.

He lives in Wash Park. Buy his ass a puppy and go for walks daily. Its the ultimate ice breaker and the "talent" at that park is better than any bar, singles mixer, website combined.

Its an ecclectic park. You have all ages, demographics, and usually the ones at the park are the ones enjoying life, athletic, and outgoing. Perfect place to meet a lady as opposed to the bars where all you meet is a very short term relationship.

I hope you are kidding BB! You realize this is the site that sent a retired old timer to leave the Mane within 5 posts of his Bazi and Mark Jackson thread (then to the butt). You did post on the famous Jamie thread and we didnt know this was the personals. I think you are doing a nice thing for your buddy but it is pretty funny. Plus, i would think that "most sensitive of personal topics" isnt covered under Looking for a wife. I do hope he finds his "desperate housewife". It isnt fair that not every guy is being rejected for sex.

I not try to be insensitive, but this thread was running joke and not a serious attempt to match folks .
And it great that you hate to see him lonely, have you asked the question how you would feel if someone was doing this to you on public sports message board? (especial since you might meet some of the folks at tailgate with him) I would kill any of my buddies if they attempted something similar. I would be beyond pissed at them, and might end the friendship. At the end of the day, he is the one that needs to do something about it not you. My $0.02, which isn't worth whole lot.

Other than the fact that this thread was more joking than I first thought - which I just realized - I don't understand a word of what you're saying. Your posts are in fact very insensitive. You do realize that most couples in this world were set up/introduced to one another by friends, don't you? There are dating sites all OVER the Internet - I just saw a commercial for one not 10 minutes ago on ESPN. To poke fun at a person tring to help a friend meet poeple is beneath you. And btw, he's not the least bit desperate - screw you for saying so. He's not posting here, I am. I thought (and still think) a Broncos fan like him might be a decent setup. Maybe you don't realize, but there are/have been several couples who met on this board - in fact one OM couple just got married last month.
He might not necessarily like me posting this here, but he sure as heck wouldn't be angry about it ... there's not much to be angry about. The fact you think it's such a terrible thing says more about you than it does about he or I.

And to answer your question, no. If I were single and a friend posted such things here I would first be kinda humble that he thought enough of me to go out of his way, and second I'd wonder who answered his post. And that's the truth.
