Robert DeNiro's role as Jimmy Conway in Goodfellas
That or Pesci's roles as Nickie in Casino or Tommy DeVito in Goodfellas
Each of those characters roles had zero warmth IMO.

No question Michael from the Godfather.
Most of the rest were just thugs, drug dealers and idiots.
Only a real gangster could dump almost everyone in his family.
Ever see the end of the movie?
Everyone is gone. They show a flashback from Vito Coleone, who had a sense of honor.
The move to vegas was brutal, and the cap in the boat was ruthless when his own brother begged for forgiveness. "Don't kill him till momma is dead".
The baptism as he goes on a murderous rampage as a Godfather at a Baptism was priceless. Obviously, the alibie was established ahead of time.
