I think it was Blue or Sassy that recommended we start a little thread like this. I have no doubts this will end up in the FAME! I would have posted pictures on Philly's thread but didn't want to take from his moment, then SJ was asked to post some so I was going to as well.....THEN Blue or Sass or somebody thought of this idea... so here we are.
Post your beauties and lets see how insane we can drive Future Mrs Portis!... To the brink baby!!!!

This is our newest monster Alexis Danielle. The kid is amazing. She has been walking since she was 4 months old, talking since she was 6 months old and started to cook about three weeks ago (8 mos. old!)..... Okay, so I'm full of it, but I still love her just the same and she is as much a joy as our first was... more pictures to come!
Broncoman13
05-03-2004, 10:55 AM
Okay, and now for one that doesn't look like Alexis wants to rip off raider fans head...
This was taken Easter Sunday (at Walmart... yes we're cheap!) Ky is 5 and Alexis now 9 months old.
BTW, I had to take a picture of a picture. I don't have a scanner so I'm not sure this picture will turn out, but it's a great picture considering we weren't planning on doing pictures that day.
For those of you with kids, I know its not glamourous or anything, but Walmart offers a great photo package for little more than $2.00!!! We've been there (and back!) three times now. They give you like 1 11 x 14, 2- 8 x 10's, 4- 5x7s and severl 3x5s and wallets. All for right around two bucks!!! They take lots of other pictures and tell you they'll sell them to you for $15 a sheet (yeah right!) but you are not obligated... and the pictures turn out pretty dang good!
Broncoman13
05-03-2004, 11:04 AM
And now for my newest baseball kiddo! No I didn't push her and it took my daughter, wife, and a bunch of friends talking me into letting her play ball. She is actually pretty good. Slower running than most of the boys, but she plays hard and has better hand eye coordination than most of the kids on the team. She makes her daddy proud no doubt! She even made a play out in the field Saturday. Picked the ball up and fired it to second for the force out. Seems like a routine play, but for a T-baller playing for the first time it was quite a feat! Just stopping the ball seems like an accomplishment! :D I love watching her games though, Baseball without all the seriousness..... Just kids having fun!

yeah, we lucked up and ended up on the Yankees! The other team I coach is the Redsox... what luck! For the past three years we've been the Yankees, then move up to Majors and become the Redsox. Hardly fair!
I'm excited to see the pictures that everybody else posts. Well, except for Beezlebub or whatever Mock's kid's (kitten) name is!

No babies on my end although I just had one poop his pants in my office. I was talking to a client and he said "You smell that?" I said 'hell yeah you better check that kid". Well the little bugger crapped a bigone and his father preceeded to wipe and change the kid right in front of my desk!!!!!!
What is it with you people that own babies?? Don't you realize that the rest of us non baby owning people get squeemish around that kinda stuff? Yeah Yeah I know their cute but they stink!!!
I already know what you guys are going to say. Meck when you have a baby you'll understand. Well maybe so but in the meantime do the rest of the world a favor. Duct tape them so they don't scream in public and please..please...please........change them diapers in private, air tight room from the rest of us!!! ugh!~ ;)
SJ Bronco
05-03-2004, 02:49 PM
I tell ya, you don't even notice it after a while. Kids will only stay quiet in public if you duct tape them and I got things to do, so we'll keep em as quiet as possible, but thats all we can do. BTW-If the world would realize that thier is a need for nursing and changing rooms in public establishments, we'd all be happier. I can't tell you how often i gotta go hunting for a place to change my kid and my wife has to beg stores in the mall to use changing rooms to feed the kid. Some bigger more "enlightned" stores have a nice clean place to change the kid and have mother baby rooms, but they are too rare. I accualy know the location of every clean place to feed and change a baby in the bay area and on the way to stockton so that i know where I have to get to just in case. You ever drive with a screaming hungry baby in the car and you can't find a good place to feed her? It aint fun. And California probably is the best place for that and even ours are too few.

Get rid of your scanner, buy a digital camera. I have all my pictures on my computer, and I have a photo printer, or I can put them all on a CDRW and take it to target and get them printed. Costco even prints them cheap now! You can pick up a decent digital camera for $150 bucks. As a new parent its a must! I can even take short films with mine! If anyone wants any help finding a good cheap camera, I'll help you look, and I can help you know what to look for. Its not hard, I didn't know anything about these things a year ago, now Im practically an expert. ;)

Huh? I'll have you know, dads feel just as strongly about thier kids as moms do, we just express it differently.
I'm the one that got up at night to be with the baby whe she was upset. I've change 90% of the diapers since she was born. I feed her solid food, I give her her medicine, I clean up after her, I fix her solid feedings and feed her, I give her her baths, I read to her, I play with her most of the time and I watch her during the day all day by myself. Dads can do it too sister!

I get the picture, Im not sure why a guy wouldn't, unless he doesn't have kids. Sorry if im touchy, but guys get the short end of the rope when it comes to credit for thier kids. When Im alone with my daughter at the mall or something I have to travel to find a place to change her or feed her cause all these places are in the womens bathrooms. Makes me angry. People always say things like "can't wait till mom gets home huh?" or dumb ass stuff like that and every time you see a dad on TV he can't figure out how to use the washing mashine or he feeds his kids chocolate donuts for dinner. Its all very insulting. So I get a little touchy, sorry. now back to the fun ;)

Awwwwwwwwwww!! How come bath pics always turn out so damn cute? It's perfectly fine to dominate a baby pic thread with adorable baby pics. :)

Yeah, I just wish I had a good digital camera so they weren't so grainy. I use my digital video camera for stills and they are always grainy (at least indoors).
Here's my now almost 3 month old niece...
Here she is with my 14 yr. old niece..
Here she is with my soon to be 17 yr. old niece...
With her daddy (my "little" brother) he's 23
And her with a little blankey her uncle Don (that's me :) ) had to get her. This pic was taking during the 2nd half of the charger game when we staged the comeback. I told my brother she must be covered in this blankey every game the rest of the year :)
