View Full Version : most hated NFC teams?

I lived a decent majority of my life in Oklahoma. Always having to deal with idiot Dallas fans, who thought every year was their year. Ran across this article http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/17273715/dallas-cowboys-owner-jerry-jones-admits-tolerated-jimmy-johnson which has a interesting quote .Switzer resigned after the 1997 season.

Since then, Jones has hired five coaches who have delivered just two playoff wins.. Hilarious stat coming from the "greatest team ever". For the record 2 teams have won more Superbowls than dallas has won playoff games since 97, *Pats and Denver. Three teams have 2 Superbowl wins since 97, Baltimore, Pitt and NYG.

Who is your most hated NFC team?

PS. It's game day!!

Toss up for me. The first team to beat us in a Super Bowl, Dallas? Or the last team to beat us in a Super Bowl, Seattle? Hmm....decisions, decisions!

1) Cowgirls! Mostly because of Jerah Jones, can't stand that moron!
2) Packers - Too many of their fans living here in Denver.
3) Seahags - Been moving up the list the past few years.

Cowboys. Always.

08-11-2016, 03:34 PM
I don't care for Dallas either but I hate the Seahags and their Dbag trash talking players. They've won 1 Superbowl and they all of a sudden think they're an elite franchise. At least the Cowboys have won several Superbowls.

I used to hate the Cowboys because they beat us in SB 12 and then they just were like the Raiders in my eyes. I really don't hate on NFC too much since I am pretty much caring about the AFC. Cowboys probably up there with the Giants but that is basically because they are from NY and brought up to hate all NYC teams.

08-11-2016, 04:05 PM
Seattle. I used to hate the Giants, Redskins, and 49ers. However, time and 3 SB wins have dulled that hatred. Also the Giants beating the Pats twice didn't hurt.

Seattle made it near the top by most I get it because of the SuperBowl and I can see how fans would hate Sherman he's one of those players that if he's on your team you tolerate him if not you hate him. The Seahawks have only recently been good so it is a testement to them they are becoming more hated no one really hates terrible franchises I mean who could hate the Browns mostly just feel pity for them.
The Broncos have been fairly successful over the years and they are not that hated compared to other successful franchises.

Redskins and Panthers. Not too fond of the Seahawks, either.

I don't hate NFC teams as much as a couple of AFC teams like Pats, Oak, Chefs but if forced to choose I would go with Seathugs as well. I could see Dullass and Deadskins maybe.

08-12-2016, 12:30 PM
entire NFC east.

08-12-2016, 12:54 PM
Dallas for me.

Also, God clearly hates the Lions after what they did to those Christians.

08-12-2016, 12:59 PM
Seattle and the Giants

Seattle for beating us and for them being in the Cards division.

Just hate the Giants, its just annoying the coverage they get and they suck

08-13-2016, 08:02 AM
It used always be Dallas, but their yappy gangsters haven't had much to yap about. They're more a comedy side show than anything else.

At this point, it the Panthers. Cam and his stupid antics, their annoying bandwagon, and I have yet to have any of their fans just say hey, good game, you handed it to us. Nope, its always you were lucky, refs threw it, the NFL set it up for Mannings last tango, etc.

Fire Truck them.

Generally, it comes down to how a team's fans behave and not the team that creates my hate with a few exeptions.

Seachickens and Cowgirls. No brainer.

Surprisingly I din't care about any NFC East team, even NY. If there are always two teams I find myself rooting against though it's Seattle (because of the 2012 regular season game) and Carolina (because of the 2013 regular season game and Cam's punchable face)

08-13-2016, 08:44 AM
Well back in the day it was dallas dallas and then dallas then it was the Giants then Washington then the 9ners today its Carolina and the water chickens.

08-13-2016, 09:01 AM
Not a ton of hate for the NFC, but there are a few I don't care for.

LA Rams

I don't hate the cowboys like everyone else because they've sucked for a quarter of a century.

08-13-2016, 09:35 AM
It changes around every 5 hrs for me. Before, I couldn't stand the packers. Now it's the Seahawks. Can't stand their coach. Can't stand their fans. I know pretty soon they will suck and their fans will disappear.

08-13-2016, 10:16 AM
Really hate the cowboys and Giants. Hated the Seahawks there for a while but I'm pretty much over it.

08-13-2016, 10:28 AM
Being from STL the Rams are now enemy number one. Right behind them is Dallas. Then I'd say New York and the Packers.

08-13-2016, 10:34 AM
I'm indifferent to NFC teams but if I had to pick one it would be the Seattle Seahawks because of the AFC West history.

08-13-2016, 10:39 AM
Also, I've grown to dislike the San Francisco 49ers because of Jed York, their arrogant elitist fan base and their stadium that has a whole sideline devoted to luxury boxes.

08-13-2016, 10:55 AM
Used to hate Dallas...and I still take an inordinate amount of pleasure when they FAIL, especially if it is in a game with Denver.

Now, its the Seahags, although they will fade away soon. Carolina is very dislikable, due to Cam ( its all about ME!) Newton and a flash in the pan fan base.. Their tears were SO delicious last February. They will fade quickly too...and I think they will have a hard time in their division this year.

Upcoming is Green Bay. They get way too much press these days and the MSM fawns over them because of Rogers. He's good but they aren't that special.

I think Arizona is going to become very unpopular here soon.

08-13-2016, 11:37 AM

Green Bay

Falcons (because my second team is the Saints and I can't stand them)

08-13-2016, 12:16 PM
Probably have to go with the Seahawks here. Even before the SB48 fiasco, I was pretty fed up with the whole "12th man" act from a fanbase who largely didn't even know they had a professional football team in their city until Mike Holmgren showed up and made them respectable. It wasn't that long ago that the Kingdome was basically a 9th home game for the rest of the AFC West and now they act like the greatest fan base in sports.

Dallas has been irrelevant for too long now to really incite much hatred from me. I hate Cam Newton and the now departed Josh Norman more than I ever really hated the Panthers themselves.

i understand. i felt the same way when the Colts were stolen from Baltimore in the middle of the night. for many years, they were my 2nd most despised team (behind OAK of course), but it does fade over time. now i merely detest them. took about 30 years for that to happen, and their old franchise QB coming here and getting us to 2 SBs while they accomplished almost nothing with their new franchise QB.

08-13-2016, 06:58 PM
entire NFC east.

I can't argue with this. Every year were stuck watching two ****ty NFC East teams on Primetime multiple times throughout the season.
