Hint: A lot of this links I put on here, if you open in another tab and insert "ss" into the URL address you can download the movie.

IE: http://www.ssyoutube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=U5kwxs7EYuk

You must put the "ss"after the "."before the youtube.

For me the funny thing about that movie is it took til the 10th time for me to watch it before realizing John Paxton and Jim Kelley was part of that movie. To this day I still don't know how John Paxton gets introduced into the movie til he shows up at the opening dinner banquet. LOL

<iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/sDW6vkuqGLg?feature=player_detailpage" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

To me that is the best scene of the entire movie. People don't realize that Bruce Lee is quoting from Wing Chun in the clip.

LOL. Possible the one movie that I love and hate the most at the same time. Great action, plot and story telling. At the same time is the most racist movie of all time. Its about a Black guy that acts Chinese learning Karate from a Korean. Then is given a fortune cookie which is a Japanese recipe invented in America. This is almost as bad as the new Karate Kid movie.

That's a touch odd. You don't watch movies because they are based in reality do you?

Has nothing to do with that. After watching UFC once a week, I just already have my fill of martial arts. Not only that, there are plenty more movies I watch that have fight scenes in them with Martial Arts. As well I don't really think that movies today that are made to feature Martial Arts are really all that good. Seems like they all lean towards that gay fantasy martial arts like Crouching Tiger did and less about raw real martial arts. For example, that Jet Li scene I replied about, that was sped up by 3X faster then normal, you can easily tell. Just not into that. I'd rather watch UFC or I like movies that feature very real simulated fighting, such as the Bourne movies, etc.

I certainly agree that the modern martial arts films aren't very good. I just don't think Kung Fu movies and UFC are related at all.

For the sake of argument though...the bourne movies use just as many camera tricks, they are just as far from simulated fighting as the MAtrix. At least JEt Li is a martial artist....MAtt Damon not so much.

No Doubt. Great way to see this is watch the Matrix fight scene in slow motion and watch any other Chinese martial arts movie in slow motion. You'll see the real difference. You'll see Reeves set a block and wait to receive the strike. In Chinese/Asian Martial Arts movies its a lot tighter and there is less of a gap between block and strike.
