View Full Version : Can't bring Fox back, no emotion...

Probably the fact that Fox and Peyton are so use to losing the Big Game, that they lacked any kind of emotions. Elway needs to take a hard look at the coaches, i have watched Bronco football for many years and i can tell you in all honesty that this team was the most unprepared team i have ever seen. If this is the result of 2 weeks of preparation, then Fox and his coaching staff should be fired. How can Elway even think of bring back those sorry excuses for coaches. Start over and rebuild with a strong team of coaches who want to win. As i see it we have a coach and quarterback, that will accept losing in games that matter most. Hell, send them all packing.

So, you're just saying to fire the coaching staff?

That seems a little light to me.

The way I see it, we have one clear option. Fire the coaching staff; get rid of every single player; look into the legalities of euthanizing Pat Bowlen; change the uniforms to incorporate more teal; and run the idea of moving the team to another city up the flag pole.

Come on, guys! It's so simple, maybe you need a refresher course!

Amazing when we lose who suddenly appears. Like a really ****ty genie who does not grant wishes, just bitches about the things you would wish about.

Fox is one of those just good enough to get you beat guys. He's gutless and wants to be Mr Nice Guy which just doesn't work anymore. You have to have a little (or a lot) of A Hole in you now days. Fox isn't the type to show no mercy and his teams here have all been mentally very soft.

see..today's coaches in NFL..they are all fired up..coaches like fox, Marvin, andy, kubaik will not have much success in this league.

This team will go nowhere till John Fox gets the sack.

next year is probably manning's last year. what coach would really come into a situation like that, where they are facing a rebuilding period one year later?

let's face it, even for guys like me that despise john fox, we're stuck with him for at least one more year

Maybe we should give Moreno the job, he shows plenty of emotion, just play the national anthem all game, job sorted.

The thing that most of the posters on here don't realise is that if Fox ever were to leave, Gase or JDR would most likely get the job.

Also be careful what you wish for. The last time you all wanted a coach fired we got that useless **** from New England.

Fox is here for the duration of the Manning era. Whether that be 2014, 2015 or beyond.

I tend to want Fox gone but it would have to be for a proven winner. Someone like Cowher to come in and get this thing done.

he was mainly useless because of him having front office power. if he was hired as a coach only, his negative impact would have not been nearly as bad

Fox has done a fine job of it. He got a playoff win with Tebow and bailing wire and to the Super Bowl with Manning. To fire him at this point makes as much sense as it made to fire Marty at Sad Diego. Over there 13 -3 wasn't good enough for them remember and they needed to make the change to 'get over the hump' . How did that work out for them?

Fox doesn't say anything to our players.
It's elway who got frustrated after preseason loss against SEA. I bet Fox didn't say a word.

I never heard players talk about Fox being frustrated. he is a nice person..unfortunately, it doesn't work in NFL.

OP are you going to suggest that Elway should be **** canned too?

So while I don't disagree that Elway should take a long hard look at Fox, I definitely don't buy this "no emotion" argument. That's football analysis akin to what you would hear advocated on some mouth-breathing-must-find-some-way-to-take-up-24 hours-of-programming cable news channel - or Cosmo, take your pick. Fuzzy thinking for fuzzy people.

I do think that what we saw yesterday was a team that was woefully unprepared, out coached and utterly incapable of making adjustments and I would like to know why. To me that's the question I find most perplexing. It makes no sense given the fact that preparedness and adjustments seem(ed) to have been one of this team's strengths.

Except for the whole, you know, cheating part.

Just watch...I'm calling it now. Elways extends him at least 3 years.

I could see 1 or 2 at most but that's not how Elway seems to view Fox.

Just got to say, "**** off!" You have not been around since we lost to SD and you have been aching to talk **** about the Broncos but just couldn't as we kept winning. I would rather hear this type of opinion from someone who is an actual fan and not someone who looks for misery at all possible chances.
