Frank is my favorite, but I like Alicia Keys, "Empire State of Mind."

Not necessarily my favorite, but the style is fitting for a sporting event...

Sorry, but I can't stand hearing that song ... my dad and I heard that song over and over and over at the Rose Bowl after the Giants beat the Broncos in Super Bowl XXI in Pasadena. Ever since then I can't stomach the song - it brings back bad memories of the second half of that 39-20 loss.

I don't have a favorite NY song, if this were in Chicago I would have a ton. All I can come up with is Billy Joel but it is not even my top 10 favorite Billy Joel song and I like Billy Joel and have seen him play a bunch of times, even backstage once.

This was a great live performance though

I always choke up when he does Goodbye Saigon, even when he did it for this years Kennedy center honors.

I don't like Frank Sinatra much, but I do like this song, a lot. Fortunately, I don't have the SB 31 memory you have of it. I love it when they play this song every New Years Eve at midnight in Times Square. Such an awesome party atmosphere, such tremendous and catchy vocals, and this is the right type of song to party in a Romantic sort of way that is appropriate for New Years Eve.

Can't embed from iPad. Seventies Stevie Wonder is possibly my all time favorite music.

Haven't figured out the imbed thing from an iPad, so I'll just list them.

New York, New York by Johnny Winter

We are the Champions by Queen

Wild Horses by the Rolling Stones.

The last one might be a reach, but it is the year of the horse, right?

I was staying away from Don Henley's "New York Minute" because of the "everything can change" and overall death and dread. It is almost like Don wanted to write a Warren Zevon type song with an American Songbook type score.

Here is something to lighten the mood, I admit to seeing it on ESPN this morning, "On Broadway":
