Orlando Franklin grew up in Toronto if you're wanting the connection. Kind of impressed Ford did that kind of deep research on his jersey selection...

Former players like Lynch have more credibility than people like Clayton et al who never played sports!

I'm impressed he did the research. Interesting, I didn't know Franklin was from there. I've been to Toronto a hand full of times to visit family, although that was when I was a kid. Should go back again to check it out, now that I'm old enough to actually see other side of the city.

Debatable in fairness. You need only listen to the mob of ex patriots players in the media to see that.

ESPN mag published this in August.

Football Outsiders mined its 22 seasons of data to forecast each team's offensive and defensive performance. Pro-Football Reference used its Approximate Value metric to highlight a non-QB MVP, while our resident Football Scientist, KC Joyner, studied the bad decisions of each signal-caller. Finally, Pro Football Focus performed its algorithmic gymnastics to predict the scores of all 256 regular-season games and our playoff bracket. The only theory left to test: Does champagne taste sweeter at Mile High or the Meadowlands?

Interesting that they not only had the chiefs making the playoffs, but didn't have the Pats making it. While the Pats game last week had me the most nervous, in hindsight it ends up being a great mental breakthrough for the team.

Oh, it's real alright:

That Ford is a Broncos supporter is no surprise. He revealed on the Washington, D.C., radio show The Sports Junkies earlier this month that hes a huge fan of Peyton Manning and hopes the Denver quarterback can take home a second championship this season. I really want him to win a Super Bowl, Im pulling for Denver all the way, Ford said. I really want Peyton to win hes a class act and I hope he gets it right. Well see what happens if he loses, its not going to be good.

Screw weed, this just became the Crack Bowl.
