Thorium creates a radioactive gas, Radon 220, which is known to cause lung cancer, right?

Those little bitty tires probably don't last too long

I like the look and redundancy built into the tire 'system'.

Just like anything else, it's a concept car. Don't expect EVERY little facet to make it to production (or to make it to production at all). Most likely it's just marketing to let the world know what they're capable of.

Oh, and, 'merica. :yayaya:

Very cool, and all the more reason to be putting a lot of R&D effort into EVs.

A thorium-turbine engine, which is designed to produce electricity not direct mechanical energy, is a lot closer to a drop in replacement for an EV battery than a ICE powered car.

...Needs Refueling Once a Century

Here's hoping the inventor doesn't mysteriously disappear or have an "accident."

Don't know but radon is everywhere, especially near and in mountain ranges.

Well, three months later and TJ's link and picture are gone.

Poof! Like they never even existed ...
