Untill now. Most of you who know me, know how sick my wife has been and how it has progressively gotten worse over the years. I have had a bad run of jobs over the last 2 years and COBRA has eaten away all of our savings. She is not getting any better and to make matters worse my oldest son has been advancing in the stages of the disease as well. The kicker of it all is that youngest son has been diagnosed with the gene HBLA27 too and has been exhibiting symptoms. To make a long story short, I have a huge deductible, a new job that is commission only, and a short to time to get may family on a trip they have always wanted to go on. I just need a little help. Please look, help if you can, and pass it on. I really appreciate it guys...

Good grief. I thought I had problems. Unfortunately, I'm in no position to give any money, but I wish you the best of luck...

Stay strong, Dustin. I wish I had the gift of comforting words that don't sound cliche and patronizing. In their place, I'll say that your story teaches me to love every minute I spend with my own family. I truly hope and pray that you get to go on your special trip.

You are truly an inspiration sir. I just started a new job myself, so money is a little tight. I will do everything I can to try to help you out. Also know we will be praying for you and your family.

If memory serves me right, we had the pleasure of meeting you and your lovely wife in Denver a few years back. I'm so very sorry to hear of her -- and your sons' -- health issues. I'm praying for your family and should be able to kick in some $ this weekend.

I just appreciate everyone taking the time to consider it. If you can put the link on other forums that you go to, that would help spread the word.

Thank you omaners!

We were trying to get to NY, but with her getting diagnosed with cancer and my youngest having heart arrythmia issues we needed the money to travel to specialist appointments
