Stay safe. Glad that storm didn't hit us. I don't mind the winter, but February has a penchant for being the crappiest month of the year.

Pansies, drove through that **** and am putting in a full days work (work in KC) bitches act like they haven't seen white stuff in their life...then again, this area prefers meth to coke so that may make sense.

Driving SoCal in Hell everyday???

I am not sure what Meck was trying to say.

Our little league season starts on Saturday. How can you play baseball in the snow? Doesn't everyone start their season in the next 2 weeks? We have been practicing since January 15th but a few rainouts have washed away some practices.

See, it has been hell here in Orange County too.

Living in the Mountains where we routinely get 6+ inches of snow I have never understood how places get paralyzed by a whole whopping 6 inches of snow. Missing work (other than by calling in sick to ski) is never acceptable simply because it snowed even for those who have to commute 60+ miles to work here.

That said, stay safe.

Yesterday where I live we had about an inch of snow and it never got below 32 degrees so it didn't stick to the roads. They closed the schools early and cancelled school for today. Two of the girls that work at by business called in because they didnít think they could make it in on the bad roads.

Back in high school, we played at least one game every year in the snow and it was always against the same team, no joke. It was uncanny. It was fun for me because I was the pitcher and I was always warm.....but it was pretty miserable for some of the fielders who didn't see much action and were just standing around.

Storm amounted to nothing here in central Denver. 3 or 4 inches maybe? Suns out now.

The mountains are a bit different than a well populated area. We get 6 inches in DC and things have to shut down in order for road crews to actually do their job and get the roads cleared. People are encouraged to stay home and lessen the strain on the roads and stop all the accidents that would naturally occur.

6 inches? Let be honest anything 2 inches and over is panic around here.

Sadly we got not a damn bit of worthwhile moisture in CO.

What's the snowpack at in the Eastern CO Rockies watersheds? 60% of average?

Going to be another fun, fun fire season.

Also, inches of snow and your cities are paralyzed? Damn pansies.

I always figured it had to do with municipalities who were underequipped to do enough removal before heavy traffic makes it all a mess.

Snow's much easier to deal with before 10,000 people drive through it.

Anybody who doesn't come into work because of an inch of snow needs to leave America. If that doesn't fly, spend a winter in the UP of Michigan, northern Minnesota, Fargo or Alaska as punishment. Relegated to a cabin in the woods with minimal supplies.

Snow Penis In South Kingstown, Rhode Island Causes Uprising, Calls To Police

She said police dropped by and laughed at the prideful statue, then left. The negative attention only stoked the phallic flame, and the penis quickly went from 6 feet tall to 12.

Does anybody have small dogs? I had a LOT of trouble getting her to do her business, in 9 inches of snow? I guess I should have shoveled a small area of grass, but they like to explore...

I have 3 dachshunds and I shovel out an area to do their business but being hounds they get right in the snow as if they're after something. But they won't do their business in the deep though. We've got a big storm coming so they'll be lovin it!

I had a lab when I was stationed in South Dakota. After a big storm I wasn't thinking and let her out into the yard. There was a drift going up over the fence. It took me a couple minutes to realize after I had let her out that there was this drift. Luckily she didn't make it far so when I yelled her name she came running back.

I've got a miniature Doberman (and a big golden retriever). I clear a small area for her. She goes fast, then gets stuck trying to decide between her desire to come inside and her desire to stay around her big brother lol.

We did avoid the dreaded massive Upslope the last two storms. This one was an upslope, but nowhere near massive.

Having said that, I see I have to go shovel another 3 inches. That would make it about 12 inches total, no big deal.

Round 2 started this morning

Only like 6 inches where I live, but the ice is a real problem this time

Taking down trees with close to 50,000 without power right now
