There's no way the Saints don't rep the NFC next year...

Yea there is. It's called defense, they have none.

Seattle is an interesting play and should be a great series next year.

I dont know. Which long time player who is the league's "conscience" is going to announce retirement before a WC game?

I hate everything right now

broncos niners next year would help, I guess.

niners are built to last, but their pass rush disappeared in the last month and a half. the corners aren't quite good enough. get revis.

shoot joe flacco in the face

put ray lewis in prison

I think the 49er QB makes unbelievable plays that will, sooner than later, result in injury, sans Robert Griffin. It seems clear to me the guy can play the position from the pocket, and his added athleticism complements his passing skills, but he's going to take a serious shot sometime soon, and this fairytale will come to a screeching halt.

No 49ers in '13. Seattle possibly, even Atlanta or New Orleans, but no 49ers.

Denver, definitely.

John Fox coaching + manning in playoffs = Epic Fail.
There's a reason why Mr manning flops during playoffs.
I don't trust him in playoffs.

The last team to lose the Super Bowl and make it back the following season was the '93 Bills. SF will make it to another Superbowl, but it won't be next season.

There is just no excuse for this team to not sweep a crappy divison next year, and be fighting for prime seeding in the postseason again. My guess is we add an impact guy or 2 in FA, we are drafting pretty well, and the young guys have another year under their belt WITH playoff game experience....

Apparently Rahim Moore is going to be MVP.

But the Super Bowl is in New Jersey, remember Manning can't play in the cold, so even if they make it, they won't win

The broncos should have been playing the niners this year really. I think the broncos need to get stronger against the run on the d-line next year in order to not let teams like the niners dominate them with the run. I know the broncos were fine stats wise in this area, but I think the niners would have run it down their throats in the SB. The ravens were stout enough to stop it but I think the broncos would not have been able to.

Denver was better against the run than Baltimore. My concern would have been Vernon Davis.

What big name star is retiring next year?

Denver would have took SF apart. We saw that in the preseason. Yes, I know, it was preseason. Still, Peyton Manning was throwing it all over the 9ers which is exactly the problem they had all playoffs as well. Good QB's will pick apart that secondary. Their defense reminds me of the Broncos 3-4 in the 80's. Very good front seven that can get to the QB, but once they don't, the Db's are not that good in coverage for a long period of time and get exposed. Denver would have torched the SF secondary. I imagine that's where SF goes during the draft this year.
