Not nervous, although I did have flashbacks to NE when Manning was a Colt when I saw it snowing.

Manning doesn't have to win this game by himself though which is the key. Still though, I hope we come out kind of conventionally and don't make big mistakes early. Certain playoff games Manning has lost he came out and played like **** and couldn't dig himself out of the hole. Pittsburgh and the Ty Law three pick game come to mind.

I am nervous. We are the better team but the opponent is a quality team...albeit not as good as most Baltimore teams. It's the playoffs so you are never assured of anything. I'm still going to go with my 27-16 prediction with Denver pulling away late.

Peyton is undefeated in Denver when the temp is below 30. Just sayin'.

If it were not for 1996 I would be confident but I remember being face down on the floor in the waning minute of that game and my gut hasn't forgot, I am likely going to need a Valium sometime around kickoff or afterwards.

I do think our team is better than the '96 team.

Very nervous. On paper this looks like a gimme but the in playoffs you never know. I can't imagine the Broncos losing, it would be a disaster. THIS is the year, the table is set, they gotta get it done. GO BRONCOS!!

I am confident that Denver is the better team in EVERY FRICKIN PHASE...however, that would make losing so very difficult to take

After we beat the Patriots in 2006, I was so confident we'd win the whole thing and then we tanked in the AFCCG. I'm not going not build myself up for any playoff game this time around. Take them one at time and hope for the best.

It's a playoff game where you win or go home. I don't get how anyone wouldn't be a little nervous. We clearly have the better team but nothing is guaranteed.

Next week I'll be a wreck. This week no worries. Baltimore won't be a problem.

Nervous wreck. I hate having our first playoff game against a team that we played not that long ago in the regular season. Also worries me that we are such heavy favorites, just feels like one of those playoff games were the result somehow defies all logical expectations.

Here's a confidence builder. Broncos defense has a sack or under duress that is 20%. Best in the league. Broncos offense has a 14% sack or under duress percentage. Best in the league.

Yes

Is Trindon Holiday going to return punts and kicks?

Also nervous that last time we played them they got to Peyton 3 times in the first half

Hopefully it wont take until half time to figure out their blitzing this time

somebody once did a study and found that fans and players tend to emulate one another emotionally: that fans feel very similarly to players and vice versa. strange but true. if that's the case then our boys have similar thoughts to ours going on before the game.

I'm only nervous because of how confident I am. Weird feeling.

Confident, but always nervous about playoff games. On paper, Denver should roll, but blah blah every Sunday.

****in. Closer to game it gets more I stress.

This. Not so much stress...confident with more butterflies as the game inches closer! If you're not confident, go to the game day thread and listen to the NFL films theme I posted in there.

This.

I think I'm nervous because I know I shouldn't be nervous. Bizarre.

Ray Lewis is a generational type player. Ravens wont go down without swinging.

Close game, too close for comfort.

I'm totally confident we are the better team and will win. I'm a little nervous about a possible injury with the super cold weather.

Any time a game might be close , I worry about the refs changing it with a bad call.
