Pierce being limited is good. He's one of the few things that scare me about the Ravens.

Rice scares me alot. We have been very good against the run since Riddley put up 151 on us, only Charles has broke 100 since and just barely at 107.

If we can keep him around 55 yards on the ground like we have with the other top backs we have faced and we don't turn the ball over we should have this.

They key to this game is no big plays. We'll slow down Rice enough. We'll stop them on 3rd down enough. We'll play red zone defense well enough.

The only chance they really have is if we turn the ball over or give up some long plays. So, no mistakes, and no big plays, we win.

do we even want Holiday back there returning punts and doing kickoffs again?

He is just as likley to fumble as he is to have a big return it seems

Me too but is this a "Belichick" type report?

Nice to see Ellerbe limited.

Some of it is. However Pierce did not practice at all the first two days and was limited today. That's a red flag. It's rare that if someone misses the first two practices and doesn't have a full practice the last day that they are ready to go. Maybe he will be a game time decision but he probably won't be %100 at least.

Hopefully we get up 2 scores so it takes their run game out a bit.

The temperature feels like its dropping. The stadium is going to be like a locked freezer on Saturday, with very little air to spare, especially for visitors.

Fox has been smart with the returners all year. I think we need Holliday for KR's but if the punt is inside the 30 I would put Leonhard back there, hell anyone can muff a punt as Leonhard showed but he has done it way less than Holliday.

If they need a roster spot I would put Holliday on the inactive list, we can move the ball with our O, Holliday is more of a nice to have option.

I wonder if Hillman won't dress the rest of the year though after his fumble and the fact that Ball played OK in garbage time.

I highly doubt it. Hillman brings more to the table than Ball, Ball has had his own fumbles. Also KC had given up in the second half, that was beyond garbage time.

Hopefully the snowstorm that hit us tonight doesn't get there. It's a bad one. We've got 5 inches already and it's suppose to go till Saturday afternoon. And COLD, very cold.

30 percent chance of snow on fri, 20 percent on sat, but its gonna be ass cold. high of 19

Hillman is about the only RB who has the speed to take it to the house, but so far his long is only 31. KM's long is 20, Ball's is 22, Willis also has a long this year of 31.

I think Ball gets the nod because he plays on ST's and holds up better in Pass pro. If we have the luxury of having all our RB's active then great but I think they will have to make some choices on Hillman and Holliday in the playoffs.

Yep are we a gambling team ? Hardly with conservative Fox .

Holliday on kickoffs and Leonard on punts......pretty safe.

Wind chill of 7 during the game.

Peyton is 0-3 in playoff games where the temp is below 30.

Uh-oh.

Uh-oh.

That doesn't concern me....those games would have had to be on the road...and 4 of his playoff losses have come to the eventual AFC champion. It's not like he usually loses to sub par teams.

Maybe D-mac was right about the rotator-cuff injury.
