#Broncos brought back WR Gerell Robinson, signing him to a future contract. Was on Cardinals' practice squad this year.

ok i know i shouldn't geek out for this. but... HELL YES! i love it.
was not happy about us letting him go as i think he has a lot of talent and could definitely develop well under Manning.

doesn't mean i wouldn't take Williams or Allen if they fell to #32.

the potential of getting Matt Willis off the WR depth chart is appealing.
good ST guy who should only play ST.

Willis and Stokley are FAs, so Caldwell is the only reserve under contract. Who's on the PS now - Orton?

He is really slow and not that quick or nimble. Possession receiver with limited upside.

he's still 6-4 222 lbs and has a 35 1/2" vertical leap. i'll take that as a developmental WR.

He can't be any worse than Willis or Caldwell! Glad he's back...that height can't be coached either.

Yeah, if he can catch and if he runs good routes he could have a great career just ask Ed McCaffery.

we need a dangerous slot guy who can house it and a possession guy to help relieve pressure off of DT and Decker.
Stokely is a very good slot but we need someone to groom behind him with more speed.
Robinson if developed takes care of the possession WR role.

I agree, If I was Elway that would be my priority in the draft. First, second or third round find a very fast, quick, tough WR available.

I thought Robinson looked good in the preseason. If he was on the Cardinals practice squad...then he was able to watch Larry Fitz work....great learning experience for him!

Great to have him back!

You are acting as if Robinson is going to be Cris Carter. Looooool.

You are acting as if Robinson is going to be Cris Carter. Looooool. No, but I think he is an outstanding prospect...ala Rod Smith!

I don't think that speed is his weakness...although, he's not a 4.4 guy. He's a 4.6/4.7 guy. But for a big guy that's not that bad.

From the preseason and his College career...I think he needs to work on catching the ball with his hands and not letting the ball get into his body.

I'm sure DT will help him with that. I almost NEVER see DT catch a ball against his pads, or even with his arms for that matter. Everything is pretty much all hands.

Imagine the possibilities if he panned out and became our number 3 or even if he was number 2 and pushed Decker to the slot. 3 receivers all over 6'3" and 220lbs. Would be beastly. Add in Virgil Green who will start ahead of Dreesen by next season and we have a massive group of pass catchers. Jump ball heaven for a QB.

One of about 30 things DT has improved 100% on over the last 16 games. It's astonishing.

I would rather have Denver draft a small, fast, nimble WR to play the slot next year. Decker is not fast, neither Dreesen nor Tamme are fast and Thomas is pretty fast but no speedster. Denver neeeds to add speed to the offense not start a 6'3" WR in the slot.

Wheaton is probably going to weigh in the low 180s, Mike Wallace potential for him. Gonna be a stud. Guarantee it. :) Danny Amendola isn't going to leave the Rams.

No one including you knows if Wheaton will be good in the NFL or if Amendola leaves the lambs, but i do know that Amendola is good, and hes an UFA.

Considering Decker and Thomas will be due for new contracts in a few years, I doubt we will be paying the price for Amendola in FA. Just my hunch.

Who knows? WR contracts that are years away.
Amendola may want to actually win a SB. Just a hunch.
