That Arians thing could be huge. It might serve as motivation but I think the motivational storylines are probably played out on that team.

I see Stabby McStabsalot is active again. I wonder if they give him the start as a token gesture as much as anything.

I think the Ravens are a terrible team but I'd probably rather Indy wins this. I would expect more injuries to come from a Raven game than a game against Indy. A healthy postseason is a good postseason.

Manning will eat the Ratbirds alive.. if they make it to Denver ... with Stokely., Tammy, Virgil Green screens and crossing patterns and post ups to Decker and Thomas.

And with Knowshon and Hester mixing it up in hte run game. They will be in OUR house and if Ravens win here their "Goodbye Ray Ray high will be dissipated in the thin air of mile high with OUR fans screaming it down their throats.

Flacco will fall apart and start throwing Picks when WMD start tattooing him regularly from the first quarter on and the D will bottle up Rice as they did in their house.

Our Oline is WAY better than Indy's and Indy is still moving the ball quite well and should be up by 11 points now instead of tied with a little better overall decisions and play out of luck and company.

Is Kuper going to be playing??

Yes KUper will be good to go and raring to go.. Beadles is much improved and both Clady and Franklin will be locked and loaded as will Koppen.

The rush you see on Luck is largely due to a rookie QB and a marginal Oline, the Ratbirds will see the opposite of that next week ... IF they make it which is still very much in doubt.

And our D will be all over both Rice and Flake-O from the get go. Manning will lure their pass rush in and kill em with screens to Stoke, Tammy, Decker and Moreno/Hillman/Hester and nail em deep to Thomas.

Broncos4Life
01-06-2013, 11:46 AM
Kyle Orton could run the Ravens offense. The WR, TE, and RB make all the plays anyway. How many times has anyone watched Flacco and seen him string together big time throws?

5 yd outs. Screen plays. and Chucking deep to an athletic speedy WR that has some nice hops. Flacco is above avg. No way we walks into Denver and catches fire!

i gotta say, the Colts coaching staff has done a hell of a job this season.
because this Colts team is clearly not overly talented and has major holes.
they need so many pieces it's not funny. a RB to pair with Luck, OL to protect him, DL to stop the run and DB's who look for the ball and make plays.

Manning will destroy the Ratbirds. Not worried about it.

No Broncos fan should be worried, unless they are flat pussies. I don't want to hear about bye week let downs, snow storms, or stupid intangibles like a douche bag, all be it HOF LB, retiring.

Manning has few opportunities to squander, he knows it, the team knows it. They destroyed this team in Baltimore. The only thing different is Ray Lewis is back and has a retarded face mask that he thinks looks tough.

Patriots don't scare me. it's a rematch and we have home field.
the Packers scare me because they know how to turn it on and click in the playoffs. plus their WR depth will stress any defense.

Due to stupid rule, that should remain incomplete after the review, but from a competitive standpoint, that should be a catch. He caught the ball, went down, and the ball only came out after a Raven defender nudged into him.

Only 2 teams worry me, the Patriots and Packers.

That's more like it GL, they both have real QBs that can make it a rough day on nearly any D that isnt playing at top tier level.

But we have a more balanced team than either of them. We just need to at least score with them and keep it close until the second half .. if not grab a solid lead from the outset ... when the cumulative effects of a tough D and Manning keeping the pressure on and the NE or GB suspect D starts to falter, specially at home against NE, but also in the Dome against GB, if it comes to playing them.

First things first though, we need our focused commitment to STOMPING these Ratbirds who have now shot their 'Emotion' wad in this game and will be ripe for the pickin's next week.

I still think Luck is going to be a top 3 QB in the league in a year or two, but he's getting next to no help in this game (other than Reggie Wayne). The Colt's line is like a sieve, there have been numerous drops. The receivers aren't coming back to the ball to help him out and with the exception of one decent run, Ballard basically looks like Lance Ball's twin.

Defensively, Cassius Vaughn is getting destroyed. That's not going to happen against Champ or Harris.

No they are not, IMO. A handfull of points:

The ravens are no way as good on the road, and we already shoved them around at their place.
Ray Lewis will not make that much of a difference and his inspirational return will wear off after this current game.
Flacco is ordinary to mediocre on the road and he will have visions of #58 in his face all week long.
They can be bitter all they want. They are an old team on defense, and it will show after halftime. The lack of oxygen will rear its ugly head by the 3rd.
The game was a bigger blowout than the score 34-17 suggests. They scored 0 points in the 1st half, 3 in the 3rd quarter, and 14 in slop.
And last but not least, Manning will not let us lose.

Confidence and expectations of a win is not arrogance. Saying you are scared of a team you have faced and handled in their stadium is just embarrassing.

"Energy" affecting any NFL team is non-sense and message board gibberish. Players don't listen to sports talk, they get paid to come on and talk on sports talk. They live in a cocoon and aren't on the OM posting messages like regular Joe's.

I respect him as a player. He was amazing. I also appreciate how he turned his life around after the trial. I hate his "act" on the field. I don't know why either. Just do!

He said that they wanted Manning and they are going to get him and we are going to get a 45-10 win

I think spiral is just basically saying nothing in life is guaranteed. I dunno why you find this so hard to believe. But we are better, clearly, and if we avoid mistakes, play out game, they shouldn't give us trouble

I hope Von sacks flacco and then does that stupid ass ray Lewis dance

And then looks at him and points to their sideline while yelling "GET OFF THE FIELD!!!"

The arrogance people have in our team is slightly worrying...Lest we forget Jacksonville 1996... #1 seeds in the AFC have a terrible record and a team on fire only stands to lose momentum on a bye. Write off Baltimore at your absolute peril

We have an apologist.....I however will not join you and apologize for a great year. I am proud of my team. It's ok to believe we deserve this.

For sure SonofLe-loLang, of course the Broncos have to play hard and focused for at least 60+ minutes and minimize all sorts of mistakes especially turn overs and senseless costly penalties.

But the Ravens are NOT a team to be 'feared' right now and worrying Spiral or anyone else with sleepless nights for the next week! We will lose IF and ONLY if we don't take care of our business as we are CLEARLY the better team in all three phases of the game.

By contrast, The Ravens could play one of their best games of the season up to their potential and would STILL lose to us at home IF we are playing solid consistent Broncos football.. That is the bottomline.

Their only hope is they play the full game at a fever pitch and we have an off game and hand it to them. But this is NOT like in past years where we really should have and did fear playing the Ravens, especially in their house, as they were the superior team back then .. but no longer.

Flake-O going against our D versus Manning and our O going against their D is a bet I'll take very day of the week and twice on Sundays!

That is why we are giving some grief to Spiral on his less than solid feeling about our team after all they have done all year! We all know the Ravens could upset us, but I really don't think so this year and few others here do.

Wash has some dang weird formations in the O backfield. Lots of confusion results. They get some WR's wide open off the playaction, and Griffin is QB enough to find them.

Damm is anyone in the NFL better at scripting the first set of plays then Shanny? Its the rest of the game his team needs to worry about.

Since the beginning of the season the Redskins' defense is one of the most improved. Even after they lost both starting DEs to injury they are playing their best football.

True, I was just pointing out a stat.

Shanny is definitely great/mastermind at putting out a game plan to get a fast start on the game.

If RG3 does learn to protect himself he is not going to be in the league long. Shanny was smart drafting Kurt to go with him.
