If this injury to RG3 turns out to be anything serious, that could mean they're holding on to Cousins for next year.

No. We are on different pages.

I was talking about the score of the game and how the offense has been. Not the injury.

Well, when you initially responded, it was to my comment to another poster who was linking his injury today to Shanahan.

This is why the draft is so important.

It can make talentless douche coaches look good like Pete Carroll.

Couldn't agree more.

Not sure why Morris was completely taken out of the game plan either.

LoL at all the Shanny haters showing up now that the game is "over" to hate on a guy who is the greatest coach we ever had and maybe don't have 2 sbs without.

I mean I get analyzing and 2nd guessing like a normal person does. But it's always the same people who show up and run their mouths about him anytime he's mentioned.

/lame.

Well you may want to contact the NFL Network and express that opinion because they are saying the same things about Shanahan. Opinions aren't bad, they are all there is, including yours.

This really pisses me off. The Broncos can and should still win it all tho...so that's a positive.

That's the beauty of having a 3rd favorite team to fall back on.

Yawn.....I'm not going to apologize for strongly rooting for my favorite coaches team or my favorite QBs team. Thankfully Denver is still in it and should win it all. They are still my favorite team in the league (and 3rd favorite in all of sports) but that doesn't mean I shouldn't be upset when the Skins and Bears lose. They're kind of a big deal.

That would be believable if you actually showed as much passion for the Broncos as Bears or Redskins. It's in your writing, it's easy to see.

"Thankfully."

So what you're saying is, had the Redskins won it wouldn't have matter what happened with the Broncos.

You know, since "thankfully" they're still in it.

More BS from you. I've been very consistent on this from the getgo. But yeah you've been here all of 6 mos...so I'm sure you are all knowing.

BTW I have received disturbing reports from two different people that you are posting under a new name while being banned. I sure hope that is not true...as that in of itself is a bannable offense. This will be investigated.....albeit by another mod so as to avoid any claim of bias.

RGIII should have been taken out after they scored their second TD. he was obviously not himself and laboring. then you have a bad snap and his knee just gave out.
as much as the playoffs are crucial you don't risk a franchise QB's future on one game when you have a healthy QB sitting on the bench.

It has begun:

...Redskins coach Mike Shanahan will face questions about why he allowed his obviously injured quarterback to keep playing all day. Not only did it hinder the Redskins' chances of winning the game, it put in jeopardy the long-term health of a player for whom the Redskins traded three first-round picks and a second-round pick in this year's draft. http://espn.go.com/blog/nfceast/post/_/id/47902/rapid-reaction-seahawks-24-redskins-14

SoCal never stopped rooting for the the Broncos. However he does get more emotional over the Bears and Redskins. I also think a part of him is at least somewhat disappointed the Broncos are doing well because it totally justifies firing Shanahan. I also don't believe SoCal will ever be able to totally support the team like he did because he hates Bowlen for firing Shanahan and knows any success the Broncos achieve is good for Bowlen. There are no such complicated feelings with the Skins/Bears. They're even NFC teams. So while I think he's still a big Bronco fan and knows a lot about the team and follows them very closely and roots for them, I really feel, at least emotionally, he gets more jollies from skins and Bears wins. At least that's how it comes across.

I disagree. I don't think falling ass-first into the best QB of all time justifies his firing one iota.

BTW the allegation has now been looked into by another Mod per my request as I did not want Action to feel I was unfairly trying to target him or anything like that....and we have confirmed by way of IPs that he is NOT Freak6 or Casino Royale. There is no match...so you are legit Action.

IP's matching is evidence of nothing, but its the only tool the mods have. Casino will prove over time it's him.

No problem SoCal. I don't want you to feel offended as everything I state is my opinion. I could be wrong about your fanhood. I'd accept it.

As far as Casino and Freak6, I have no idea who these guys are. I've never seen them post...ever. If I were truly one of them, I would slip up sooner or later. These guys are obviously banned ---> I know what the rules are here.

Go through my posts. I don't thread the line of getting banned.

It's good to know Rev is a snitch though... telling me I'm not worth a debate but I am worth telling on.

I don't post on Omane everyday or even every other day.

Cuz you know, like Rev said, my "5' frame" doesn't allow me to do such strenuous activities.

Hilarious!

See you guys during the week.

No but being 1-4 in the playoffs without Elway is.

1 playoff win in 10 years is.

Missing the playoffs for 3 straight years is.

Having massive chokage at the end of the season year in and year out is.

Making the playoffs 4 times since 1999 is.

Winning 1 playoff game since 1999.

Having Bob Slowick as your DC is a fireable offense in its own as far as I'm concerned.

Losing 52-21 in the last game of the season that determines a playoff spot in the 3rd year of a rebuilt team with an "elite QB" and an elite WR is a fireable offense... against division rivals.

How can the Broncos be considered a winning franchise when you win one playoff game in 10 years?

4 playoff appearances in 10 years?

Hovering .500 year in and year out in a relatively weak division isn't exactly screaming, winning.

On a lighter note, it's interesting to see what Griffin played through compared to when Jay Cutler left the game a few years ago in the NFC Championship game.

Jay had a MCL sprain.

Griffin's knee looked like it was disconnected.
