The Denver Broncos sold out the 5,000 tickets available for the AFC Divisional playoff game in nine minutes Monday, team officials said.

Prices ranged from $60 to $200 for reserved seats and $175 to $425 for club seats.

"That certainly speaks volumes for the fan enthusiasm the region holds for the team," said Patrick Smyth, executive director of media relations for the team.

Yeah they went quick but almost as fast over 6,000 tix have been listed online from the various sites I've been looking at.

Sadly it seems people need/want to cash in. I suspect prices will fall from here as inventory seems to be steadily rising.

mho there best better be a over whelming sea of orange and blue fans at mile high i only want to see at the most 20 to 40 other afc team fans in that stadium because i want Bronco fans to be able to line up and lick the sweet tears of defeat from them . any more than that and those greedy sob fake fans should be barred from even watching the Broncos

It personally F'd me right off the bat as I was going to try and purchase a ticket for that Saturday as I could complete some business in town that week and hang around Saturday. Unfortunately CA people weren't allowed to purchase and now I have to barter with some **** trying to make a profit. Stupid.

The AFC CHAMP game tickets are available for stub hub and the cheapest one I see is 375 for nose bleed in the endzone.

5,000 sounds extremely low in a 76,000 person capacity stadium.

71,000 season ticket holders?

Plus the hold back for visitors tickets. They will have to extend tickets to the visiting team.
Those that are not sold to their fans come on the market later.

Season ticketholders typically own multiple tickets. I have a set of 2. My dad has a set of 4. There are about 22,000 season ticketholders. 21,500 bought their playoff tickets.

But they also have to hold back tickets for the visiting teams. It used to be about 5K per game not sure what it is for playoffs. Might be more.

What is not sold to those fans in packages that agents or fan clubs put together for airline charters, hotel reservations and transportations bus charters etc will all be cut loose a few days before the game.

It's only 500 for the Giants, and their stadium seats significantly more than Mile High. There's no way the Broncos allocate 5,000 or more.

You have sponsors that get a lot too. I am not sure how many season ticket holders there are but it is capped so individual and giveaways can be included in the 76,000 seat stadium.

traditional tickets are supposed to keep being supplied to the pot, I've been avoiding the "stubhub/ticketexchange" premium priced tickets.

Those tickets are LISTED for $415 online, you don't know what they are actually selling for. Based on how many are available online, it looks like more people are trying to make a quick buck than are willing to pay a premium.

Mine sold for $450 in the lower South Stands. If you got face value or $250 a piece in section 127, then you two found a great deal.

Tix have come down quite a bit in price. Get yours before our opponent is determined or you'll be competing with all the visiting fans!
