Only of interest because so many of us(myself included) were really hoping Saturday would sign with the Broncos. Looks like JE made the right call once again with Koppen.

He's been banged up recently. Wonder why the benching happened.

Koppen was a great pickup.

Not surprised. I haven't heard great things about him this year.

If he doesn't play another game, the other 66% will take care of it(voting).

Like I said, I didn't agree with some of the linemen.

Aaron Rogers is one of the most sacked QB's in the NFL.

I wouldn't call that Elway making the right call, we pursued Saturday heavily but he chose GB over us.

I wonder how much longer Koppen decides to play.

We need Walton back healthy next year. Koppen is starting to wear down. I don't think we want him to be our guy next year.

I'm happy as heck he's played so well this year....but, we need a young stud...................Walton!

Denver needs to sign him to a 2-3 year contract only as a back up though. If another team offers him starter money you let him go.

yeah but he didn't feel we really wanted him badly.
so the assumption was that Elway and co slow played him so that he would sign elsewhere and they could say "we tried"

Koppen brings an attitude and a sense of confidence that Walton just doesn't have. You can see it on every single play.

Don't know why you think Walton is a stud. The knock on him is that he can't get up the field on run plays.

"I told him I don't think the Broncos wanted me as much as he did. They've got things going on that they're happy with and are moving forward with and I didn't think it was an exact fit. I always felt like in Green Bay I was their very first choice."

Green bays HC stated that his benching was unrelated to his health.

I couldn't agree less, Walton plays with a ton of attitude, and is always one of the first guys to get in the middle of a scrum.

Walton played well when he was in there. Don't forget, he had to face those great teams early in the schedule when so much was new. Having him back healthy next year will be good, I'm sure he's learned alot this year, even though he's been on IR. It's a full year he will have in the study room with Peyton come next camp as well as a few quality starts. I'd still keep Koppen. He might be worn down some but what player isn't at this point. The bye week will help him out. No worries. I like both our centers, no need to draft anybody there IMO.
