View Full Version : Raven's No Huddle

I expect the Raven's to run a ton of no huddle offense against the Broncos this week.

1. It is what Flacco wants to run
2. Caldwell has experience with Manning running the no huddle
3. It worked very well for NE against the Broncos D

Question is, can it be run by Flacco in an efficient manner and can the Broncos be more prepared for it unlike the NE game?

We just needed to get Joe Mays out of there, and get a MLB who knows what the hell he is doing. I think we will be better prepared for the no-huddle offense...

They wont run the No Huddle like NE did that game. That was Madden pace

That STILL blows my mind. That was the quickest no huddle i've ever witnessed, and (correct me if I'm wrong) they haven't run it that quickly since. It reeked of McD giving us a big middle finger.

I don't think they want to play at an uber fast pace against us. They will probably pound Ray Rice and try to limit Peyton's possessions.

Yup, one of the biggest criticisms of Cameron was his under-use of Rice. Expect that to change this week.

My thoughts exactly. No huddle almost removes their best offensive weapon, and it gives Peyton the ball more often. The blueprint to beat Peyton is to keep him on the sidelines.

They don't have the TE threat in the pass game to do what NE did.

Using the no huddle against DEN would be an aggressive gameplanning move like I alluded to yesterday. However, it takes a lot of patience and a great OL. That's what made NE so effective versus HOU last night. Their OL and DL dominated very good Lines on the other side of the ball.

I would be interested to see BAL try the no huddle against DEN. We have already seen it from NE and have made adjustments to stop it. I sincerely doubt they want to get into a shoot out with Manning. Who knows, they have not beaten him in forever though and maybe they are willing to try something new since they are desperate to get playoff seeding?

They might try it - but it won't be easy. With Von Miller and Dummervil lining up against them I expect to see plenty of false starts and miscues.

No, I don't believe they have ran that fast again. The fast pace of that no huddle had nothing to do with McD though. Bill O'brien is friends with Chip Kelly. The Pats went Oregon Ducks on us that week because of that friendship. Hopefully we figured it out at the 2nd half like showed and not them taking the foot off the gas. Still should we meet the weather might just help us slow it down anyways.

I would like to see Doom getting some rest after this game. He needs to heal up and get rested for the playoffs. He has played a lot of snaps this year.
