It doesn't matter. Denver needs to take care of the Ravens in Baltimore. Otherwise they'll never get the 2nd spot over the Pats.

That being said go Skins.

It's much more likely they get a bye week with NE losing. If NE wins, there's no home field OR bye week.

When both teams are ahead of Denver, you have to pick one.

Nope I expect the Texans to be 1 and done. Thereby giving the number 2 seed the de facto home field advantage.

So first you post this:

Skins have absolutely no shot of beating the Ravens off of a loss to cmfb...None.

And then you post this:

Would you say you're completely delusional, or just partly?

Just curious.

I am too. Go Shanny, RG3 and beat the Ragin ravens.

Also hope Kubes and Houston can DO New England...but if they don't then I hope they lose out or at least go 1-3, and SF does beat NE the next week.

If we can win out, and the above stuff happens we can get Home field throughout.

Go Broncos!

So Redskins beat Ravens and Pats lose to Houston come Tuesday we are the 2nd position in the AFC. Of course Denver will still have to win out but it will be theirs to lose from that point!

The Texans would need to lose 3 of their last 4 (which aint gonna happen) to give us a shot at home field, and by losing to the Patriots, that's not helping the Broncos either.

Sorry but your reply was FAILURE.

You guys have to be realistic here. The Texans are not dropping 3 of their last 4 games. Won't happen. I will be my life savings on that. Our best chance is #2 seed, and for Texans to beat NE and for us to beat the Ravens. Hat says it's about Math. It's not, it's about ODDS. You'll figure it out. Go Texans.

Yes....but I still think that NE beating Houston, then losing to SF, while we win out, and Houston then losing the 2 Indy games also would be sweeter...Home field Throughout the playoffs, including AFCCG.

However, It would mean we would have to finish the season with a 14 game winning streak to be SB champs.....an unlikely scenario for almost any team, and a scary proposition.

I guess we should just go back to "one game at a time."

Beat the Ravens next week and see what happens the rest of the way.

It would be, but you cannot think Houston will lose to NE and to the Colts twice. It would be nice but not going to happen.

I was gonna say that I don't care, because Denver's got to beat Baltimore to get the edge over them in seeding.

But actually, there's a small chance that Denver could lose at Baltimore and still get the #2 seed.

For that to happen, Denver would have to win the final two (and should be heavily favored in both). That would take them to 12-4.

If Baltimore loses to Washington, then beats Denver, that would put them at 10-4 so that they'd fall one behind Denver (to a total of 11-5) if they lost either of their final two games: home vs. Giants, then @ Bengals. It's not inconceivable that the Ravens could drop one of those games. In fact, I think there's better than a 50/50 chance they'll lose one of those.

Also, while it's not likely, there's at least a chance that the Pats could drop 2 of their final 4.( Texans, 49ers, then @Jags and @ Fins.)

So, what the heck. Go Redskins!

Just barfed in my mouth,,,a lot. Got up at 2:00 am in the Philippines to watch that live. I can still remember the announcer saying "No team has ever lost a Super Bowl after having a ten point lead" late in the 1st quarter. 15 minutes later it was all over but the crying.

I don't know if I care if the Redskins beat the Ravens. However, I would like to see Washington just wear them out in a overtime slugfest, that involved most of their front seven being completely gassed after chasing RGIII around for 5 quarters.

Now this is the best idea I have seen posted in OM for quite some time. A soft injury like some hamstring pulls could help the cause also. Nothing permanent no IR forthe crows but some pain that makes them think a bt while they play or IF they play.

Washington has only won 3 of their last 12 home games. Shanahan is 4-21 against the spread as a home favorite. Baltimore is horrible on the road. I expect a close game. Even if ratbirds beat the skins, we can take the seed by beating the Ravens next week.

I want what is best for the Broncos. I'm not overly concerned about the Redskins because no matter what we have to beat the Ravens. It's up to us. I want Houston to beat NE because it's friggin NE. And if it's not the Broncos going to the SB or winning the SB, I would like to see it be Houston.
