He won't run it up on Dennis Allen.

It's the Raiders - this had the feeling of a pre-season game.

I sure wouldn't be bragging about his game, though.

Because you are a douche.

Peyton with -2 yd rush on three straight plays. ANOTHER red zone meltdown, guys.

Nice effort by KM tonight. I think this is his best game of his career. Running hard late is what we need. Plus he shows the staff he can be trusted to ice the game. I think he had a bigger total vs kFc but this is more impressive. If only we could have seen this out of him sooner....but I will take it now.

Turned out he only had like 60 rushing vs KFC. I thought he did a lot more. I'd be pretty sure his yardage is higher tonight.

Moreno has really established himself as a guy that can grind out tough yards inside. But Hillman really needs to grow up quickly. We can't give KM the ball 30 times per game and Ball sucks. Hillman needs to be able to be a 10-12 carry guy, not a 3-5 carry back.

Needs to catch those passes in the flat also

I wasn't talking about this year. KM's 3 100+ rushing games were tonight and the other 2 were vs kFc. He had 160 vs kFc back in 2010.

He has already out rushed his total yards from last year. Glad he got the message after being inactive for 8 weeks.

easy killer. He had some good runs but also some bad decisions. Average out those stats and you have under 4 yards a carry. He did score a td in short yardage which has always been a problem with him.

4 yards per carry behind our ****ty run blocking is good. McGahee wasn't doing any better before he went down.

We only allow 13. Raiders threw everything at us in the 2nd quarter. Fox adjusted at the half and we dominated. Plus we had a back to grind the clock and keep guys healthy and close out the game.

This is the way we should be winning.

Manning is a class act. They tried to bait him about Knowshon not knowing what play to do. Manning turned that question into a total compliment.

Imagine if we blocked for knowshon all these years.

Right? I honestly think he brings more to the team than McGahee when you factor in how lethal Moreno is in the passing game..

Plus he got 36 touches tonight, safe to say he is trusted by the FO as the workhorse back . Maybe even more than they trust McGahee :strong:

So by not taking risks he is being risky?

Yep he is .. its great to get a win dont get me wrong, but I'm not talking about being risky in your play calling but simply playing the kind of normal mix of run and pass plays that got us the lead to begin with. He has a habit of doing this whenever we get a lead of 11 points or more with 8 to 10 minutes remaining and it sucks the life out of the team,

IN t his case the run game stayed active when the Faders threw in the towel but tougher minded teams wont do that and if we get a two score lead on the Ravens or New England or the Colts even in the playoffs and try to pulll that crap we will likely pay for it by having to struggle to regain the momentum and game again in overtime when we had the game locked up 10 minutes earlier... if only we simply stay the course.

It also kills the defensive stats which they pride themselves on too.

Kudos to Knowshon for playing so hard.. he and Von were the hero's tonight.

But Fox apparently doesn't feel comfortable playing with too big a lead. And its understandable to not want to rub it in on Allen especially after his Dad dying .. I appreciate that but this is a trend with Fox too and it does take a little edge off the wins. Grateful though I am for the win in any event.

Doesnt look like Von is gonna get the sack record unless he has a couple monster 3 sack + games in the last 3... Still he should be hands down the Defensive MVP for all the destruction he rains down on offenses!

Imagine if we blocked for knowshon all these years.

He would still run into his blockers and fallen down

Jk

But really this is the best he's looked running the back ever. Waiting fit blocks to develop and showing some burst. Still no breakaway speed but that was never his game. Good goal line work too.

You MIGHT have a FFL problem Hula. :)

Yeah goob .. Its okay I still got all 6 teams in the playoffs and won three regular season championships but have to reconsider a few of my Bronco starts going forward in the playoffs in light of Foxy likely going to go easy with leads the last three games and might even sub Manning and others in KC if we win the next two and NE drops two. Will start Knowshon at W/R from here on out though in place of Decker.

Seven sacks in three games is easily doable for Von. That said, Aldon Smith or J.J. Watt look like they may do even better. This looks like it's going to go down as the season of the sackmasters.

Do we honestly believe that it will continue in the playoffs though?

I would love to look at Fox's deep playoff runs with the Panthers and compare, but why would you ever compare Jake Delhomme to Peyton Manning.
