Actually it was AFCGP of the week

...not that there is anything wrong with that.

Well, good for Brady Quinn. Sincerely, I am happy for him.

And with that said, I think the Chiefs should lock him down to a long-term contract, right now.

Meanwhile:

Luck threw almost 400 yards and 4 TDs, including one of the most clutch as-the-clock-expires game winning TDs that I've ever seen.

...but it's cool NFL. Brady Quinn sorta-knew a murderer, so better give him the award!

They have some good ones, but for the most part they overdo it for me.

No way Quinn deserved it, but Luck also completed less than 50% of his passes and threw 3 INT's. He was clutch in the end, but probably wouldn't have been in that situation if not for the earlier picks. IMO, R. Wilson or A. Peterson deserved it. Wilson threw for almost 300 w/ 2 TDs/0 INTs + over 70 yds rushing in a big win over the Bears. Peterson rushed for over 200, even though they lost.

Nevermind, didn't notice it was AFC POW.

They were going to give it to one of them but then the NFL remembered they plaed in the NFC. ;)

Yeah, see previous post. Still don't think Luck deserved it either.

I'm OK with Quint getting it
Never had anything against the guy - he just never got the time to figure it out

I'm OK with him slinging it for the chiefs - Gannon style comes to mind

he also threw three picks and chucked the ball a hundred times. he does this every week. he'll be an excellent player in a year or two, I'm sure, but right now there is nothing that differentiates him statistically from all your classic average let-her-rip guys like this year's Carson Palmer.

Quinn completed like 80% of his passes too. that should be factored in.

Wasn't he like 19 of 23? No INTS?

Pretty damn good if you ask me.

He started two games. He's 1 and 1 same as Peyton Manning was after 2 games.
