I lost my remote so I'm solely watching redzone today.

That said, I'm disappointed the Ravens got as lucky as they did against Pitt. Pitt was gonna help us then Ben went down. Still hoping the Batch of 5 years ago shows up.

Maybe Miami gets lucky. Probably not but maybe.

I wanna see the Jets get embarrassed as usual.

And I wanna see only sporadic updates on anyone's fantasy teams.

I wonder if the team uses this as a motivational tool and the late-season resurgence is enough to get Romeo another season?

Didnt he get hired as HC for a few late games in the season last year? He's most likely gone as HC regardless of what happens.

Yeah, and it was the late season success which helped him get the job this year. So if the Chefs use this as a bonding tool, get their heads back in it, and the Chefs want to avoid the bad PR that'll come with firing the HC and GM after this happened to them, there's an outside chance that they could give everyone another year.

Absolutely just complete speculation

That would be hilarious. If he got hired for it why not keep his job for it. Would take them out of the top couple draft picks too.

Lions just ran a quick play following an iffy 39 yd completion to Scheffler. I always thought teams should have a run play in place to be run as fast as a stop-clock situation. They were almost to that speed and kept it from being reviewed. Very smart play.

Oh my... they just commented that Andre Johnson had the best 2 game stretch ever for a WR so I looked it up. He had 273 yds against Jax and 188 last week against Det. That's insanity.

Offsetting penalties almost always lead to a replay the down. By declining and taking the return penalty, Miami keeps the ball but loses some yardage. Offsetting penalties don't just cancel and get forgotten.

The best you could do would probably be to allow the D to use a delay of game and pay the 5 yards. That's exactly what that other rule was created to prevent, however. Otherwise you're opening something up to exploitation.

The Rams always play them hard. Now that they have made the switch, they have to deal with the growing pains.

I think they should have stayed with Smith though. Growing pains can show up in any game. Colin has no playoff experience.

Adrian Peterson is at 15 carries for 170+ yds and Ponder throws a red zone INT trying to get his 6th completion of the day. If the Pack lose to Minny while Peterson is the only player contributing, that'll have to take some wind out of the sails of Packer fans.

But it could sure help the fanbase as a whole. Those who want Tebow to play because they're Tebow fans can eventually wear and convince the rest of the fanbase to the point that major fractures occur. Everyone being able to unite behind a competent QB can isolate those that just want to root for their favorite player but refuse to admit it.

Putting on my, um McGruder hat (is that the guys' name?) and hypothesizing a conspiracy. the Coaching staff put Tebow on the injured list to avoid a controversy because they planned on benching Sanchez during this game. By keeping Tebow out, they could see what they had in this other QB whose name I can't remember due to beer fogginess kicking in. At any rate, they finally got that Sanchez is not their guy but they also don't think Tebow is for sure and dont' want to test it until they see their other option. But as McIloveTebowruder might say, they are projecting a witch hunt during one of the three phases of truth. ;D

Actually not too absurd. When you have a wildcat type QB that you may bring in situationally, it's fairly common to make him your #2 on gameday even though he may be the #3 QB in reality. If anything happens to the QB, the gameday #2 takes over but then for the next game, the #3 may become the starter.

In this case, Tebow was active with those ribs for 2 or 3 weeks then he's inactive when Sanchez gets benched.

Not even talking about how they are protecting him with the run game. But sorry... they don't get to play against the cards the next 4 weeks, who actually have it worst than the Jets. Miami, down by 10, with 36 seconds left, kicks a 42 yard FG on 2nd down. I am surprised more teams don't do this. You need two scores. Assuming you get an onside successful recover, then you have a few seconds left to try a couple of hail mary's.

One thing is for sure, ESPN will be sure to let us know all week long! Will be interesting to see what happens. Sanchez pretty much lost his job today.

For sure... They can finally take the dust off the "Tebow Watch" segment.

Belichik just tied Dan Reeves for #7 all time in wins. Reeves should be in the HOF.

Andrew Luck and the Colts just showed the Lions why you should NEVER play not to lose.

Wow what a drive by Luck. Drove the field in just over a min. and scored with time running out.

Like Drunken said Wilson is not a bad Qb . Both Qbs put up good numbers , scoreboard tho yes...

But outplayed ? That's debatable .
