Great news for Baja....his guy will finally get a second chance ;D

In a move that should surprise no one and fix nothing, the Chiefs are going to start Brady Quinn at quarterback this week against the Broncos.

Chiefs coach Romeo Crennel announced the move today, via Adam Teicher of the Kansas City Star.

This one was pointed Quinn’s direction anyway, after he replaced Matt Cassel at halftime of last week’s loss to the Bengals, a game he didn’t start because he was cleared from a concussion late in the week.

On Monday, Crennel said the Chiefs had to be perfect to beat the Broncos saying: “That’s the only way we have a chance.”

No pressure, Brady.

Quinn always struggles hugely when pressured - this game should be excellent for our secondary with Miller and Dumervil making Quinn nervous the secondary should ready themselves for some errant throws.

I like Harris and Champ to both get a pick in this game, one of them going in for 6.

I've been around long enough to know that you can never take a game for granted - especially against a divisional opponent. And you don't have to be around a long time to know that. Just look back to last year's season finale.

And yes, the game is at Arrowhead.

But this Chiefs team is really awful. Historically awful. Prehistorically awful.

I just can't seem to get myself worried about it.

It seems that some people are forgetting that we made Quinn look like the next coming of Elway when he played for the brown's. He has it in him. I'm not saying that we lose the game but we shouldn't be laughing as if they are just rolling over because of their decision to start Quinn.

1. Quinn's Tebow revenge factor
2. Chief's revenge factor for losing out on Peyton Manning
3. Chiefs hate Broncos so much they will rip our helmets off syndrome
4. Arrowhead home-field advantage
5. Pioli/Patriots hate/revenge factor for firing McDaniels
6. Divisional rivalry
7. Patricide/Infanticide syndrome
8. Chiefs historical fail year vs. Broncos amazing turn-around syndrome
9. David vs. Goliath complex
10. Desperation syndrome
11. Caged-animal syndrome
12. Back-against the wall syndrome
13. NFl's leading pass-rush vs. Instant-Concussion Poser Boy
14. Angst of not having won a playoff game since 1994, while in the midst of worst season in franchise history
15. Chiefs fans shooting other Chiefs fans in the face
16. Realization that even with the 1st pick in the draft, you get sucky QB syndrome
17. Chiefs fans realization that they had no hope in the past, present, or future

This ought to be epic.

Regular season. 11/6/2008 - 23/35 65.7% 239 yards 2 TDs 0 Int 104.3 rating. We still won, because, Brownsfail.

Hopefully that same 2008 historically bad defense doesn't show up Sunday, even so, Peyton ****ing Manning.

Ya'll gonna **** the **** out of us.

Can't wait.

I'm really hoping that when all is said and done Pioli's 2012 Chiefs rate out as the worst team in NFL history. We have a -14.1 on the SRS scale at Pro Football Reference...that's headed in the right direction.

Lowest ranked team of all time was -19.7.

Ya'll need to realize that our corners behind Flowers are Jalil Brown, who is terrible, and Javier Arenas, who is 5-9 and runs about 4.6.

We do have two outstanding OLB pass rushers, but 0 interior rush...and our offense can't score.....

Ya'll should win by at least 17.

Anybody think SD can beat the Ravens in SD???

No and i will tell you why.

Charger suck. Bwaaaa. I don't think so because Ravens run defense is getting better. Ed Reed and Suggs will be playing. Ngata is healthier then all yr. The played better vs the run last couple weeks and Mathews and the Chargers not running it very well.

River to pass well needs time. He doesn't do well when he is getting pushed and prodded to the edges. Chargers oline is just total crap and banged up. I think even minus Ray Lewis River won't have enough time to keep up with the Ravens who have Ray Rice and a way better oline. I mean loads better no comparison.

So based on the fast one teams oline is crap and the other isn't i am going with the Ravens. But Ravens offense has sucked on the road this yr so,.....

Fox has this team focused on only this week's opponent....when asked about being 7-3 and in 1st place he said "all we've done is guarantee we'll finish no worse than 7-9...." but, he believes this team can finish 13-3.

KC could very likely be without both Branden Albert and their starting LG. This is in addition to starting Brady Quinn at QB.

They might as well wheel a pinball machine onto the 50-yard-line and place Brady Quinn on top of it.
