Yes, these are pretty elementary....but they interest me nonetheless.

1. In each of our 6 wins, we have scored more than 30 points.

2. In each of our 3 losses, we have scored LESS than 30 points.

3. In each of our 6 wins, Manning is > 70% completion.

4. In 2 of our 3 losses, he is < 70% completion. The one exception was barely at 70% (70.45%)

5. Manning is on pace for 4,808 yards......a personal best.

6. He is also on pace for 37 TD's.....a 2nd place personal finish, behind only his 49 in 2004. His 2nd best is currently 33 TD's in one season (3 times in 2000, 2009, 2010).

7. Miller and Dumervil have a combined 17 sacks...on pace for 30. Whoot!

8. Denver leads the league in sacks with 31. Whoot! Also only team with 2 safties. Whoot whoot!

I'm going to throw all those stats out the window and give you the most important stat of all. When Denver defense can stop teams on 3rd down, we win. It was a problem to start the season, obviously with playing the best teams in such a short period of time while going through our growing pains. But now this defense has cranked everything up. Turnovers, sacks and 3rd downs. I knew our special teams was not that far off. We had awesome punting and FG kicking but now with Holiday I feel we are now truly special in all phases of ST's. This is a well rounded and balanced team. Something I didn't feel we were at the start of the season. I would feel confident playing ANY team right now. There's not a single team out there Denver can't beat.....right now. Time to win out bitches and get a 1st round bye.

Very true, and I was one of those that thought we'd improve this year, but not as much as we have.

Glad I thought wrong!

Trindon Holliday is turing out to be a great pickup. Although, he'd better be told to hold onto that ball for a yard or 2 longer. That should've been called a touchback yesterday.....and last week vs. Cincy, he did the same thing.

Fool.
