Patrick Moran was caught giving advice on how to forge utility bills to get around new voter ID laws. Also notes that Obama Lawyers will be on hand to help make sure the fraudulent votes count, if you make the fake utility bills look real enough.

Democrat Jim Moran’s campaign office released a statement calling the incident an error in judgment.

That was extremely ****ing stupid, because Moran is sure bet, and will get reelected easily.

The thread title is misleading in that Moran didn't "give advice on how to commit fraud" - he was caught on tape listening to a pitch by an undercover operative (wonder who that was?)

Anyway, still a stupid move on his part.

LABF is right. from the story:

he resignation came hours after an organization led by activist James O’Keefe, Project Veritas, released a video showing an undercover operative pitching a voter-fraud plan to Patrick Moran. The plan called for casting ballots in the name of 100 voters who were registered but rarely voted.

In the video, Patrick Moran expresses doubts about the plan but eventually tells the undercover volunteer to “look into it.”

What he did was wrong, and he should resign, but let's be clear:

Listening to a pitch about ways to commit fraud isn't as serious as actual fraud, e.g., the GOP operatives who were just arrested in VA for destroying Dem voter registrations.

Lol I guess you could call this active listening

Moran suggests creating fake utility bills to serve as voter ID. But he warns that there will be “a lot of voter protection” at the polling places to enforce the identification laws.

“So, if they just have the utility bill or bank statement – bank statement would obviously be tough … but faking a utility bill would be easy enough,” Moran says

Your "outrage" is certainly blunted by the fact that operatives from your own party have been arrested for actual voter fraud.

Are there no mirrors in you house???

Guess what, operatives from your party pled guilty this week for voter fraud. link (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/10/22/arkansas-operatives-plead-guilty-in-vodka-for-votes-scam/#ixzz2A8El18b3) And actually I do care when both parties are involved in corruption.
