Nucatola said that “for many women,” Planned Parenthood is their only health care provider and “thus the only way they will get a referral for a mammogram.”

He said in the debate that "they rely on it for mammograms." Considering Obama is a big professor and all that, you'd think he'd not have been so loose with his wording. In that video, PP locations said they were bombarded with calls for mammograms due to what Obama said. I guess all these callers are "right-wing echo chamber" lunatics "parsing" poor little Obama's words.

Obama was intentionally overstating the reach of PP's services in order to frighten people per the funding issue, and that's it. He was called on it and his minions are pissy.
There are plenty of state and city-run services for the poor, we used them when I was growing up. The idea that cutting funding to a private org is going to cause a public health crisis is 100% steaming horse dung. The interests behind it are obvious: The PP is pissed about losing money and the Democrats are trying to manipulate women into fearing Romney over the issue. It's a non-issue in every sense of the word.

Neither the poor (porr?) nor middle class "depend" on PP. PP is a private organization and far more public services are available. Show us we need this overlap. I am a woman, and I can tell you we do not.
