Knowing that this guy wants to rip down the wall under the false idea of living in peace makes him not only delusional, but not worthy of listening to. There's no such thing as a Muslim-majority country in which non-Muslims are treated with decency, and advocating such a thing for Israel equals holocaust, period. Internal demographics of Israel alone in the future may well end up with this outcome. The idea of a Jewish homeland means by definition a Jewish majority. Arabs living within Israel are already given far more rights and opportunities than those living anywhere in the Muslim world, yet the lefties in the media continually act as if they're prison inmates.
The problem with such silly videos is that they never address that the Palestinians have been offered a state 3 times and have each time turned it down (yet cry victim!), beginning with the Peel Commission recommendations of 1937 that would have given the large percentage of the land to the Arabs. The Jews accepted these proposals (and other similar agreements), but the Arabs always refused it with the apparent attitude of all-or-nothing. Now they cry victim that they don't have anything. Fouling one's own nest and blaming the other is a longstanding Muslim tradition.
Mr. Peled is a useful idiot and little else.
These pro-Palestinian activists should also be decent enough to address the mistreatment of Arab Christians in the West Bank by these Muslims. Bethlehem was once a 90% Christian town, and due to Muslim harassment, it's now only 10% Christian. The media have made championing Muslims one of their big pet causes, and in looking closer, their brazenly hostile and deceitful agenda comes to light. The Jewish guy that runs CNN-US is a lunatic and should be ashamed of himself.
So apparently the alleged treatment of Muslims by Jews in the West Bank and Gaza is an issue but not the treatment by Muslims of everyone else. Well that makes a whole hell of a lot of flipping sense. Welcome to the Left.
Then again, as a former leftist, I can sniff out their bull**** propaganda faster than speeding bullet. The radical left have been in bed with radical Muslims and jungle Marxist guerrillas for years under the false banner of "indigenous rights."

I'll clear up one of your own delusions. In fact, millions of sephardic Jews lived in Muslim countries for more than 1,000 years under exactly the conditions you say do not exist in Muslim countries.
Which is to say -- in peace, prosperity and tranquility. In Islam, Jews are viewed as people of the Book -- and are accorded respect.
Jews lived in most of the Arab nations without fear -- for centuries.
This happened while Christians in Europe were persecuting Jews.
Today the largest Jewish population in the Mideast - outside of Israel - lives - guess where? - yes, in Iran -- to be precise: Tehran.
These Jews view themselves as Iranians -- and have no wish to relocate to Israel. If Netanyahu starts the war he has for years been threatening to launch against Iran =- he will murder his own people in the process.

As usual, the left enjoy vague anecdotes and uneducated utterances to support their defense of Islam. The problem is twofold: Islamic law and Muslim history.
"Respect" is not something Islamic law has toward Christians and Jews, in specific it treats them as 2nd class citizens. I'm sure you've heard the word "Dhimmi"? They are neither allowed to proselytize their religion nor cenebrate it in public in front of others. They are also not allowed to build new houses of worship. This is not tolerance, this is not getting along. I should not have to explain this.
Arab and Muslim are not the one and the same thing. Any society with Islamic government treats non-Muslims as 2nd class citizens, and any society with even a Muslim majority treats non-Muslims as 2nd class citizens, if not in official law, then in social relations on the streets. Muslims have been and are still persecuting Hindus, small Muslim sects considered apostate, and Christians. The real world of Islam isn't as spiffy and tidy that the lefty apologists with glazed-over eyes would like it to be.
One thing we were all taught as part of our Western Civilization studies was that the Muslims invaded Spain and didn't leave until hundreds of years had passed and finally enough indigenous resistance was mustered to expel them by force. Yet all we hear of these years from the left was how lovely life was in occupied Iberia. The steam is rising thickly from the bull**** of the left.

No, this is of their own volition. THEY were the ones that have turned down a sovereign Arab state on multiple occasions. They are not passive pawns, they are active instigators who know exactly what they're doing. They have been turning down the "2 state solution" since the 1930s and yet continually blame the Jews for it even though the Jews have been the ones accepting these deals. When their leadership said long ago it was either push the Jews into the sea or the Arabs will be pushed into the desert, they're getting what they asked for and are being pushed into the desert.
The Jews should be given ALL disputed territories and the populations therein expelled to nearby Arab countries. Muslim lands extend from Morocco to Indonesia, they do not need Israel or the territories, period.

Not true. As Peled correctly points out, the Zionists only agreed to the 1947 UN partition plan for cosmetic and tactical reasons. The Zionist goal was ALWAYS to take control of all of Palestine.
