Just got into Borderlands 2. It's super fun. I frickin' love it. Only wish there was a little more vehicle variation & better save functionality. Otherwise, the gameplay is a blast. There is an endless amount of guns and the dialogue is hilarious.
Also playing:
- Deadspace 2: love the lighting and suspense in this game. The only problem is that you're ALWAYS low on ammo and health. You wind up replaying certain checkpoints multiple times before you pass it
- Battlefield 3: this game kills me. Literally, I get aced left & right. I'm having fun on conquest in Operation Metro and Seine with the claymores. Haven't gotten into Armored Kill yet
- Madden 13: just picked it up but haven't played it yet. Go Broncos. See mods, you can't kick this to jibba jabba because I worked in a football reference

Borderlands 2, Mass Effect 3, Skyrim, NCAA13.
Plan on getting RE6 when it comes out, and eventually the DMC reboot.

Video games, too old for a video game. I did play Xbox when it came out.
Does anyone remember ESPN Y2K NFL games? They were much better than Madden at the time. Then the NFL screwed them and forced Madden to be the only nFL game.

ME3 is pretty good. Not as good as ME2, but seeing it all end is cool.
I read something from Bioware that they were going to make DA3 be more like Skyrim. That would be sweet. I still have DA2 in it's wrapper because I heard it doesn't hold a candle to DAO

Yeah everyone says that NFL2K5 was the best thing ever but thankfully Madden caught up to NFL2K5 last year http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COi3Qer15Og

I played DA2 before DAO. I thought it was an OK game. It was rushed (repeated settings...you get very sick of the same cave/mine backround...) by EA. The characters are actually worth investing in, combat is quicker and a fairly interesting story arc. Those were the positives. DAO is the superior game of the series, hands down though. Its just a better game. DA2 could have been very good if they spent another year on it.
I hope DA3 is as vast as Skyrim is, but I hope they keep the same level of characterization. That matters, especially in a game built on choices. If you dont care about the characters, then what difference do the choices make?
I loved ME2, one of my favorite games of all time. I like ME3. I dont agree with how they wrapped up Shepard's story but it was not my story to tell so I cant knock it too badly. I got the Leviathan DLC...I thought it was pretty good. Finding out what created the Reapers. And creepy. Very creepy. I am excited though that it sounds like a ME4 is a possibility.
