Heard the Booth say Peyton was nervous about going on the road well Manning threw three first-quarter interceptions and the Falcons jumped out to a 20-0 lead. Being the ultimate competitor that he is, Manning fought back, helping Denver get to within one score in the fourth quarter.

He really sucked last night. I don't know if anyone noticed that or not. That's my first draft analysis of the game, but I'll have to watch the coaches tape to confirm it.

Manning said something in the pregame maybe it was with Chucky but he did say he wanted to get his 1st road game behind him.

I like the grit he had coming back, he adjusted as the game went on.

I am concerned with his accuracy on the deep ball, his nerve issue could have something to do with that. As long as he is not on the injury report and can throw he can only get better.

:Broncos:

Considering our QB did his best impression of Jay Cutler, I think as a team they put up a respectable game and these threads are warranted. Against a SB contender. And a respectable coaching staff from top to bottom. On the road.

Now, if we lost to the Cardinals at home...

I really want to hear a brief interview or something for him to explain each one. Though, I suppose, fans shouldn't expect anything very candid, considering he doesn't want to give away his hand if there is a problem

I'd say this is an impressive throw with minimal arc on it... a 40 yard dart.

Yeah, two of those INT's I wish I could be a fly on the wall in the film room today to see what they really think happened.

The 2nd one I think it was, was mostly just badly underthrown. Which is concerning because of the arm, but by itself would be one of those things that just happens sometimes.

Once Decker has to leave his feet, somehow his ball awareness falls off a cliff.

I'd like to add, that the ball never left the screen... had someone like philip rivers throw that, it would have been a lob.

I figure it will take til next summer to know how much of his strength returns for long ball. I think Denver should of hired Tom Moore to assist in growing pains and adapt O with a guy really fimilar with Peyton.

Our Avg skill players should be our biggest concern and hold off on concern on Peyton after just 2 games.

Only skill players I like are DMT and Willis the rest haven't impressed me much.

We should offer up some free nutritional supplement advice from Gaff. Then we'd have all the bases covered.

Manning noodle arm makes Chad Pennington look like Elway. Those 1st quarter throws were scary. He may be done already

Nah. One throw was scary. The other two no QB in the NFL had any business throwing. Just bad decisions.

I hope you're right but how much time do we give a 36-37 year old QB with a ROCKET on the bench?

No, That the good thing about Manning. Even if he's already done. He exterminated the tebow cult in Denver.

Clean house on D and O. Let Von lead the D while Brock leads the O. BUILD A WINNER NOT A DIVISION challenger

Well if you want to compare arms.

yah, there was a thread about it right after this pic came out where another article showed a pic of a body builder who had the exact same right arm as TT, but who cares? Actually, I kinda like the idea that it's TT.

What I saw, he clearly was a little rattled early, it happens, especially in these circumstances where you have a guy who missed an entire season and had an injury. What I saw later was a more mentally focus Peyton who started playing with "FIRE". You could clearly see it. Even his throws in the 2nd half were faster. I think he finally said enough of this crap and started to get a little pissed and fired up. That's what I saw.

Even if he had the arm of Elway, those passes would have been picked. All 3 were bad decisions. All 3 were either into double coverage or the defender was right there. He had guys open but forced it down field. Safety read Mannings eyes and broke on the ball and picked it. I don't think we were prepared for Atlanta to come out with a D like that.

I don't believe he was as much scared as just plain nervous and got over aggressive to compensate cor that as a result. Not sure if he had the arm for it but it looked like Decker was wide open down the sideline on the 2nd int.

Manning has to win games due to his brain..His arm is certainly weak.
I don't think he completed a pass that is more than 20 yards.
But..i will take him over Tebow/most of the other QBs.
He is our best option for us.

Vegas_Bronco

Truth is nolan baited him on one int, he had a bad pass on another and the last was a poor decision throw....then we fumbled...this team needs to gett rid of the high risk participants and build a solid core of players. Morenos fumble was just as careless as the ints....but each turnover should be compuonded in the order of occurence. Why was the fumble so like moreno and the 3 ints so unlike manning? In the answer to this question is the exact reason we will struggle this season.
