View Full Version : Poll: Is Romeo on the hotseat?

I know it is only week 2 but their D has given up 75 points Cassel has 3 INTs and only 3 TD's (2 in Garbage time), Charles had 6 carries for 3 yards, Hillis had a fumble at the goalline and they were embarrassed despite the return of Hali and Flowers.

Do you think Romeo will be around after week 6?

Those two wins last year that really bumped his winning percentage up are short lived. I hope they keep him all year.

The owner should sell the franchise.

Same here. But i'm guessing he'll be gone before the end of the year...

Kinda lame options. I don't think they fire him mid-season but I don't think he goes 0-16 and gets another draft to rebuild.

It seems these "players coaches" are better for teams where the veteran presence is established. Not for these young teams that need turned around.

LOL

They need a new QB more than they need a new coach

But they also need a new coach

And a new GM

They aren't going to fire Romeo after one year. Hunt isn't going to pay 3 coaches at once.

Pioli is way too arrogant to fire RAC this season. Great news for the Broncos.

Rex Ryan should be fired

Wait ... weren't the Chiefs the favorites to win the AFC West?

They're going to need a bigger hotseat.

I hope they make him head coach for life.

What's his contract? Chiefs are cheap.

I can't imagine having my team made over in the image of Romeo Crennel. Talk about excitement.

I doubt it to this point, but their defense which was supposed to be a strength has been pitiful so far this season. And when you have a QB who just isn't going to lead them to many wins, a bad defense really makes them look inept.

If any of you need some comedy relief, you got to check out the Planet. They're melting down over there, and it's hilarious! They are already arguing over who should replace Pioli with the usual suspects like Ravens and Steelers FO assistants, etc.

I would suggest Matt Russel, but not interested in charity today. :wiggle:

I choose B, but I dont think that the Chiefs would be smart to let Romeo "rebuild" the team according to his image... rip off that band-aid ASAP, and bring in another WCO coach like Haley.

I hope Chef sticks around on the sidelines longer than be did on South Park. Well as long as they keep playing like this anyways.

Last week at least Cassel threw at the legs of his tormentor, this week he has already given up.

I have to take a look at KFC's scores over the last couple years, they seem to be giving up blowouts at a record pace despite all the "talent" they have on their D.

Even Hali couldn't help stop the juggernaut that is the Buffalo Bills, minus 2 of their offensive starters.

I agree, I hope Romeo sticks around for 3-4 years before they decide to replace him. After all he has 1 winning season and KFC's brass surely wants to get that out of him before they fire him and bring mCd in and try another Patsy retread.

This poll is incorrect. It should be "Is Pioli on the hotseat?"

Chiefs keep this up and Pioli is gone guaranteed.

I have a feeling KC will still pull out their usual 5 or 6 wins this year. Just enough to ensure they'll fall out of the quarterback sweepstakes, and reach for another project defensive lineman.
