View Full Version : Ryan Clady fourth-place on the most indispensable players in the NFL list.

4. Ryan Clady, LT, Denver: We all know what quarterback Peyton Manning can do when healthy. But the Broncos don't want to find out how he'll fare if Clady is out of the lineup. Clady has played in two Pro Bowls in four seasons, and he's one of the best left tackles in the game. He'll also play a major role in determining whether or not Manning's surgically repaired neck becomes a bigger issue. As great as Manning is, he's been successful largely because he's taken as few sacks as any starting quarterback in the league the past 15 years. His offensive line in Indianapolis protected him the way Secret Service agents guard the president. Clady will be just as vital to whatever dreams Denver has of Manning taking the Broncos deep into the playoffs.

Nope. Not even close.

With our luck, we will let him walk and end up trying to replace him with a draft pick that sorely needs to be used in other areas.

I think Clady is getting a bit overrated there.

And New England could sooner replace Tom Brady than Gronk? Fail.

Considering Manning has been OK with a pu pu platter at that position for years in Indy, methinks this is false

Our back-up OL are terrible, if Clady were to go down -- we are banking on Chris Clark to fill-in for him. Terrible.

We should add the following to the end of every espn or SI title from now on:

or

Clady is gonna have another pro bowl year and he's gonna demand to be the top paid LT in the game.

Drew Brees clearly should be #1 on a list like that now that the HC is out.

Newton is #1. Lol.

as funny as it sounds it's true. with Cam Newton they can contend for the playoffs, Cam goes down and their future rides on Jimmy Clausen.
think about that...

as far as Gronk being higher on the list than Brady... we all saw the playoffs after Gronk got hurt, that offense wasn't anywhere near as potent and even Giselle knows it Ha!

he kinda already is though so at least if he performs to that level it will be justified.

Clady is this high just because Manning is at QB and concerns for his health.

I think Clady is going to dominate again, having finally recovered from that nasty injury.

This article is stupid - Clady is indispensable because he's the main factor in whether or not Manning goes down.

Why not just make the "most indispensable player" Manning.

Seriously, where would NYG be without Manning then? Or GB without Rodgers? NO Without Brees?

they still have enough talent to contend for the playoffs and not be a top 5 drafting team.
Carolina is Cam and a prayer.

This is just a fashionable thing since all the sports gurus are talking about mannings health and the LT protects his blind side.
