Football season is back. That means everybody is firing up their grills and cookin' like crazy. Anything special on the menu with the Maners for Opening Weekend?

Brats for me definitely Probably like 9 on Sunday

Making a ton of from-scratch green chili for the opener tonight, complete with Colorado Kolsch and Happy Camper IPA (from Santa Fe Brewing Co.)

Saturday for the Montana @ App State clash, gonna do steak fajitas on the grill with fresh veggies and homemade salsa and guac.

Sunday for the pounding we'll deliver to Pittsburgh, creamed chicken enchiladas, New Mexico Red Chile sauce, and most likely a couple growlers of beer from various local establishments.

Yes, I will be full, and I will be drunk.

I will be grilling something, just don't know what yet, I'll have to check with the little lady to see what she has planned. I always drink a Colorado beer during Bronco games probably start off with some Blue Moon for this week. It's gonna be fun!

This is the only proper answer to Req's question:

I am grilling some government toasted cheese while cooking up a batch of crystal and munching on a hair pie.

I'm thinking about Tuna and NoODles tonight. I like to crush potato chips (they have to be Wavy Lays) in them and put in sriachi sauce. Might think about eggrolls and fortnue cookies for apetizers.

Ritz Cracker Casserole. WTF. Sounds cool.

It's super easy I will post the recipe.

cutthemdown
09-05-2012, 03:19 PM
2 cans whole kernel corn
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 c. sour cream
1 can cream of celery soup
1/2 c. chopped onion
Drain corn. Put in casserole dish. Mix all other ingredients together and pour over corn.
TOPPING FOR CASSEROLE:
1 stack Ritz crackers, crumbled
1 stick butter
Melt butter and mix with cracker crumbs. Put on top of casserole and bake 30-45 minutes at 325 degrees.

Use green onions but i dont put in as much as this recipe says. I have never brought this to a party where it all didn't get eaten.

Nothin' wrong with a 33 waist. That's where I'm at now. Gonna try to get back down to a 32. Putting on a few pounds the past month or so sucked. I ate like crap.

For sure, what I eat makes the difference for me. I hate putting on a tshirt, looking down and seeing this new protrusion, ha! I've lost 12 lbs in the last couple months just eating right, now on to the exercising part!

Some days I don't eat. Some days I go crazy. Today I had a Rice Krispie treat and a 6 inch Subway sub. Thats it.

I really should eat a better breakfast, usually it's just coffee and one of those breakfast sandwitches from Starbucks. Lunch is just snacking and I eat a healthy dinner (chicken or fish with salad or rice). Making a good breakfast just takes so much damn time.

I was wrong about you. Apparently we DO agree on something.

I've got some wonderful homegrown Northern Lights at the moment... and a sherlock bubbler from which to smoke it.

Pass the dutchie to the left hand side...

No one loses in that contest.

On the way back from NV doing a show the band played I stopped along the 395 near Bishop and caught a couple stocker trout while smoking a few joints. Reminded me how really its the simple things in life that kick ass.
