2 in one game, was it luck ? was Bruton just on fire ? or is it just pre-season ?

It was preseason. Bruton is one of the best special teams players in the league, so he's no scrub. However they had a rookie punter and possibly someone who won't make the team in on protections. He might not block another one all year, but now that he has he is going to believe he can every time.

I pretty sure it was all starters for the first one. I'm hoping this is a sign of good things to come.

On the first punt the guy in the backfield who is supposed to pick up anyone who comes through went to the middle instead of identifying that Bruton would come unblocked around the corner - that was poor protection but very well played by Bruton to get in there and get his hand up high without bowling over the punter.

Bruton deflected one against the Rams in 2010.

Pretty much this...

Preseason. Kinks.

Plus, as Chris said, Bruton is one of the better ST players in the NFL.

Bruton may end up being the best pick of the mCd era and he is only good on ST's.

Bruton attributed his feat to aggressive film study....
