Welcome!

I love these threads, I have been a Bronco fan since around 1973ish hard to remember that far back. I was about 6 at the time.

Just curious what brings you to the Mane?

Cool, I am in the burbs of Chicago.

New here too although I signed up in 2006...oops :thanku:

Wow another Broncos fan in NC. And I thought I was the only one.

Been a Broncos fan since the first Super Bowl against the Cowboys. My pop was a Cowboys fan and I was looking for my own team. Most of my friends are Cowboys and Steelers fans so I took a lot of abuse for many years. Hoping for a run on rings to catch up

People are pretty mean here, have you tried DenverBroncos.com? Not that you will get anything intelligent there. They have no METHWOLFE though.

The Orangemane is the home of THE METHWOLFE.

My screen name says it all. Fan since I can remember, I think '72 was the year I started watching. The Orange Crush season of '77 sealed my fate.

I was born a fan in the year 1974...i learned the art of making rock candy in that first year suspending a string from a cup. I only cooked the real rocks for a few years until my stove blew up. Now im a hired arsonist that cleans meth houses out with flamin joy..doing my part to give back to the community with methnic clensing.

(Bolded the pertinent part) Hey, that's not really my thing, but I try not to judge.

As for the Broncos - I've been a fan since their first Super Bowl in 1977 (I was seven). Like a lot of people in Denver that year, Broncomania got in my blood. Today 35 years and three states later, it's only gotten worse. Thank heavens for the Internet and NFL Sunday Ticket!

Since the fall of 1977. Our Church had a few bus routes. That year they gave every bus a different team logo. If your team won that Sunday you would get cookies on the ride home. Got a lot of cookies that year, and have been a fan ever since.

1981. Found a picture of me with a Broncos shirt on. Of course I found one from a few years later where I was wearing a Pats shirt...glad that one did not stick.

Welcome to the forum, friend. :)

I look forward to discussing many Broncos related topics with you. I am eager to hear your takes on these issues.

To start....if you would be so kind, please state your position for us on the issue of meth.

I've been a Broncos fan for quite some time, longer than I can remember. I used to shard it up when I would watch Are You Afraid of the Dark? episodes on Nickelodeon after school, but the Divisional Round loss to the Jaguars in 1996 really launched my meth addiction. For whatever reason, I found symbolism with shooting up and the Denver Broncos. Sort of like the kid who puts on a baseball glove and just knows he is going to make a life of playing ball. It has been a love/hate relationship for almost fifteen years now, but with the selection of MethWolfe, I know understand what I am here for. Welcome to the boards!

The MethWolfe Alliance needs some supporters from North Carolina. Are you guys in?

Like a bunch of others here 1977. Lived a couple of miles away from Broncos Camp at CSU. Spent the summer running around the camp, trying to move the blocking sleds with my friends, hunting for autographs, and trying to sneak into the picture on TV camp reports.

That year had all the orange crush hype, and got hooked on Broncos Football. Still have my collection of steel orange crush cans with player pictures.

Welcome,

Been a fan since the early-mid 90s, can't remember exactly when I became an exclusive Broncos fan.

Also we have a new slogan around here

"Meth, because you remember too much on Ambien"

My first sentence outa my mouth was "Go Broncos" 30 years ago. I was born in 81. The Drive is probably my earliest game memory, most vivid at the time anyway.

Born in Aurora in 1965, moved to Long Beach in 1972 and been a Bronco fanatic since 1973, our QB back then was Charley Johnson. Football has been a way of life, live and die with it.

I was six when Elway was a rookie, and I remember the atmosphere pretty well. The first actual game I remember is the Broncos vs. Packers "Snow Bowl" game in 1984. I remember riding on a road on the Eastern plains between 6-8 foot snow drifts with that game on the radio.

I am a Broncos fan from Pennsylvania, knee-deep in Eagles country. I was born in Pittsburgh and my family is all Steelers fans (save for my bro, who backs the Jets, but he was born in NY). The Drive was the first game (7 years old) I ever saw. My favorite color was orange and I figured I couldn't go wrong, as the Broncos had orange jerseys and the Browns had orange helmets. My dad told me he'd never seen anything like that. So right then I followed the Broncos and still do.

I'm only in NC on weekdays.

There actually are a few other Bronco fans in the area - I know of two in my neighborhood alone, and i've seen quite a few Bronco stickers on cars in the area.

The closest NFL team to me was (and still is) the Chiefs. The trouble was that I actually wanted to follow a GOOD football team. The KOA signal was strong enough, that I could follow Broncos games on the radio (This was before games were prominent TV fixtures). That was somewhere in the neighborhood of 1984-1985. I've been hooked on Broncos football, ever since...

1977 right off the bat in game 1 that year. Still angry the refs gave the cowboys that touchdown that was clearly never caught and controlled (butch johnson?) in the SB. Followed Broncos like a madman through years living in Colorado, Indiana, North Carolina, New Jersey, Chicago, Maryland, and back to New Jersey. Even followed them for half a season while staying in Venezuela.

People are usually afraid to be in the same room with me if Denver is losing because heavy objects tend to get thrown. I'm 43 years old and still put a hole in my bathroom door when those cheaters from new england kept scoring in the playoffs this past season.
