What is a good radio alternative to 104.3 The Fan? I've started listening at work over the internet and 104.3 was what came up on my search but if I have to listen to that damn DMac for one more day I may jam a pen in my ears.

Any good alternatives that talk Broncos all day?

102.3 beats hell out of the fan during drivetime. Dbag is the worst guy on radio.

No station talks Broncos all day.

I listen online as well.

Certain local shows on 102.3 are pretty good, my favorite is CJ & Kreckman. It was a better station before it changed to ESPN.

Just started listening to Mile High Sports 93.7. They are not quite as structured but seem to take a lot more listeners calls than the others. They seem to be getting better everyday.

I can't stand Scott Hastings on 104.3. He's like an NBA version of John Madden. Except Madden stuck to his own sport. Picture Madden having a radio show talking about women's softball. That's what I get out of Hastings.

I usually listen to 102.3 ESPN on my morning drive downtown. If the radio is on at all during work, it's KVJZ 89.3 (http://www.kuvo.org/), or 88.1 KVOD (http://www.cpr.org/) - but those are a Jazz and a Classical station, though.

I know that doesn't help... but I don't mind 102.3 ESPN radio on the drive up Santa Fe (sometimes Broadway if I'm in the mood).

102.3 ain't band, IMO.

Does 102.3 have an app to listen to if you don't live in CO? I can't find a way

When I've got a minute, I'll watch him on Golf on Altitude. Nice tips, beautiful courses - all of them in the Rocky Mountain region.

850 KOA is almost always talking Broncos this time of year. Dave Logan is the host afterall.

It's ESPN, so there is likely a local affiliate, but you wont get the Denver analysis.

Try the iHeartRadio app - I'm not sure if it's on there, but it probably is. You can get KOA and Broncos games on iHeartRadio - that's how I rolled when I was in college and would be running late on the light rail on the way to games from DU.

850 KOA could have been called the "Tebow Station" from October last year through February this year.

I like the Fan and Dmac and Al. I worked with Dmac back in the day, and he's the perfect foil for Big Al.

Took 102.3 out of my presets. Just couldn't do it.

I like Dmac and Al's personalities, but I really am sick of the outrageous stuff that they say. Al's claim that Chad Johnson is a better receiver than Decker and DT at this point in his career is just one example. He has no idea what he's talking about when talking about skill positions in the NFL. He's also extremely close minded to other viewpoints.

I'm also sick of the constant Tebow, Moreno, and Ayers Bashing. I understand that they haven't done a ton, but after awhile it gets really old. And it really feels like they're taking a **** on them just to be mean spirited. Tebow isn't even on the team anymore, so I'm sick of that discussion.

I'm a way bigger fan of Scott Hastings and Drew Goodman.

I will say that most of the interviews done however are pretty good.

Only reason I won't listen to 102.3 is because I hate Les Shapiro. He's a complete a-hole and mean spirited. He also isn't as smart as he thinks he is.

I listen to them all, I just surf around and find the station that's on a topic that I'm interested in. I usually end up at 104.3 or KOA (especially during football season). I don't think D-Mac is that bad. Probably the ones I don't care for are Irv Brown and Joe Williams (Are they even still on?).

I can't stand 1510 or 102.3 ESPN. Evans and Klatt and The Drive w/ Big Al and DMAC are the only shows I listen to.

DMAC is a pretty cool guy, he doesn't have the best personal takes but he does seem to know how the Broncos feel about the players.

Yes. I actually listened to them today. Its now become entertainment for me to listen to what they talk about because the tired old bull**** is like a sad old joke. When I tune in I usually hope Bronco Billy calls, because he's always fun to listen to, but today the big topic was a guy who was a great punt returner for CU back in the Eddie Crowder days (1960's).

Anyway, for me I listen to 104.3 in the morning hoping that Mark Mosier is subbing in for Evans, Klatt, or the 10-12 guy, who is decent. I would listen to Les and JoJo in the afternoon if I didn't have to sift through JoJo constantly talking about himself and his life, like he is some kind of grand celebrity and we all can't wait to hear what he's up to next.

Can't take a second of Kreckman and CJ, just can't do it. Logan and Krieger are good, but I always forget that they're on. Really like Sandy because he spends a great amount of time informing himself and he almost always sticks to the issues, whether I agree with him or not. Wish he were on during drive time.

I've really soured on 102.3 because when they first started up a couple years ago their constant hook was "live and local" not regurgitated national crap that never talks Denver sports. I bought it and was a loyal listener. Then when they got BSPN, not only was it a slap in the face to guys like me that want live and local, but they went on a month long ad campaign arrogantly blasting and making fun of 104.3 because they got BSPN and 104.3 was stuck having to go back to live and local, which is what I want.

So I'm pretty much done with 102.3. Lou from Littleton can eat ****.

I miss Vic and Gary. 102.3 is awful with all the A.M. ESPN crap talk. Also Les Shapiro never knows what the hell he is talking about.

Mosier is the best guy on sports radio, but is only on every so often.

Love when Mosier is on with Klatt in the morning. Evans just whines about his Tebow tattoo.

Denver sports radio is really sad. When I lived in the Denver area back in 1994-95 when The Fan was just starting up it was good stuff. Sometimes it was great stuff! They concentrated on the Broncos, the Nuggets and the Rockies but mostly the Broncos.

Then it changed, it just got crappy. The original on air people left and they replaced them with bonefide crap and it's never been the same.

So The Fan was good for about a year or so right after it started then it went on a slide and it has never recovered. Really, how hard is it to find people who know what the hell they are talking about and stick with the talking points? I know it CAN be done because it WAS done back in the day.

With the Avs, Broncos, Nugz and Rockies, plus CU, CSU, DU, AFA, CC athletics and HS there should be plenty of local sports to talk about.

BUT NOOOOO!!!! It's all crap.

I listen to 104.3 mostly because I can't get the other stations in FoCo.

Not a fan of Klatt. Guy spends one training camp with the Lions and now he's an unimpeachable expert on the quarterback position in the NFL.

Mike Evans should do us all a favor and drink a big cup of bleach. What a moron.

Nate Lundy is as vanilla as it gets.

I get pretty sick of Hastings' rambling old-man stories. Drew Goodman is a whiner.

Big Al has cool anecdotes from back in the day, but he can be extremely ignorant. I actually like D-Mac a lot more than I used to. He's fun to follow on twitter too.

Sandy Clough is awesome.

That's all.

Tombstone RJ

I used to like Sandy Clough until this one incident that forever changes the way I will listen to him.

It's 2002 and the Nuggets are one of the worst teams in the NBA (and maybe the worst team that year, I can't remember). This is after more or less a bunch of years of crappy teams and bad coaches and lousy ownership.

This is the year of LaBron James and Carmello Anthony being in the draft. So the Nuggets, of course, draw the #3 pick from the draft lottery. The Cavs have the number 1 pick, the Pistons have the #2 pick and the Nugz (being screwed by Stern and the NBA, IMHO but that is a whole 'nother rant) get the fuggen #3 pick. So there's no way in hell the Nuggets are getting Anthony right?

Well Sandy Clough is upset and rightly so because the Nuggets suck bad. Instead of getting either the #1 or #2 pick we get the #3 pick which is worthless. So Sandy is crying about this on the radio. So there are a few callers who call in and suggest that Detroit is indeed NOT interested in Anthony and might possible pass on Anthony for the big Easter Euro player (I forget his name now).

Well Clough rails on these callers. I mean, he's merciless. He lights the up and screams at them and rants about how there's no way Detroit is passing on Anthony. NONE!!!

Well, we all know the history right? So does Sandy apologize to the callers or say anything about how he was WRONG about Detroit passing on Anthony? I mean, just one sentence where he can man up and apologize for his rants?

Nope. Hell no.

fug that guy.
