I'm taking Ray Rice or Aaron Rodgers if either fall to me. Vick is going to dump a million balls off to McCoy as well... can't go wrong with the #1 pick with either of those three IMO

You're crazy if you don't take Arian Foster in a PPR league with the #1 pick. The guy didn't dress for 3 games last season and still had 53 receptions, 1224 rushing yards, 617 receiving yards, and 12 TD's.

The whole vegan thing scares me with Foster to be perfectly honest, I have the #1 pick this year and it's Rice.

Sproles will go much higher than he would in other drafts in a PPR league.

i would take brady all day...i never understood why people take RBs with the #1 pick...at max they score you 30pts on an epic night and usually get injured and miss at least 2 games....qbs are much more valuable (ex....if alex smith gets you 18 pts with his mediocre play and brady gets 35 on his usual game...thats a huge advantage vs RBs rather small point production.)

Aaron Rodgers.

I might take Rodgers. I've serously considering taking a QB in the first. I play in a PPR 10 team league and the champ has had Rodgers or Brees at the helm past few years. They are more of a sure thing. You can't win the league in first round but you can lose it and RB's are way more injury prone.

Its ppr-- go foster...he will trump all the RBs, there are very few that dont do a time share and ball out like foster as a RB and a PPR...

Foster
Stafford/newton/manning

is much better than

Rogers
steven jackson

Foster will own sjax in numbers and stafford will be slightly less than rogers, sometimes equal or more.

IMO there are only 2 rbs I would consider ahead of the big 3 qbs...picking at 1 you can get them.

Except that RB's go down every year and QB's don't. Stud QB's are guaranteed. Also, EVERY SINGLE YEAR like 3 or 4 of the top 10 RB's are from the 7th round+ lol QBs almost always finish 1-5. All about raw point production. You can also play matchups since you have multiple RBs. RB is replaceable, HOF QB isn't.

It depends on how much you like to gamble. In a 10-team league if you take A-Rodg #1 overall, there's a chance you could get guys like McFadden, Jamaal Charles, DeMarco Murray, Ryan Matthews or Adrian Peterson with your next 2 picks. All of those guys have questions, but man that could be a lethal combination.

If you go Arian Foster #1 (which I would do), then you most likely could still get one of those RBs to pair with him, and then maybe Stafford or Newton or Vick. If not, you could get Peyton or Romo at the 4/5 turn, which isn't terrible.

Personally, this year I'd rather take one of the big 3 RBs early since there's a steep decline at RB. You can win with someone like Eli or Romo, or even River as your QB, more easily than if you try to win with guys like Ahmad Bradshaw and Reggie Bush as your RBs
