Curious what the Mane thinks about it, and if there are any in the lifestyle, or any prescribed on TRT/HRT.
Personally, I think that the national media paints out a very poor image of someone who is on steroids, and misinforms a lot of the population who are too lazy to do their own research. They think anyone who uses or has used steroids is a druggie psycho who will curb stomp you in the parking lot if you take too long at the water fountain.
I am an avid amateur BB, hopefully looking to drop the amateur part in the future, and steroids are a necessity in this sport, just like they are in any competitive sport, But, you don't have to compete in anything to deserve the benefits IMO. People mislead by the media like to portray steroid users as "cheaters". But that isn't right. Especially in a sport, Mark McGuire didn't learn how to hit a 90mph fastball by stabbing himself with some test e. Romanowski didn't learn how to read a OG by eating a bunch of anadrol. Those skills had to be self acquired..
To be honest, when on them, you need to work harder than normal if anything. You need to keep your diet even more perfect, make sure you get your sleep, and make sure your training is in check. Overtraining is still a possibility. Not to mention you need to be taking the appropriate compounds to combat the side effects you can face; testicular atrophy, acne, gyno. The media makes everyone believe if you're on, your balls disappear, your dick shrinks, you go insane, and you blow up into a muscled out vascular monster.
I dunno. I just think there aren't enough educated people on the subject, so I'm hoping to find some, and some discussion, here..
