I like the air of confidence that our quarterback possesses. Even if Manning throws a bad ball, he always has the look of "I got this"....:strong:

He was definitely in command, and yet showed some signs of being "rusty." I will be very interested to see how quickly the rust wears off in the preseason.

Seattle should show some progression, but San Francisco will be the real test for both Manning, and the O-line.

I can't remember the last time we had a quarterback that could audible at the line and actually read a defense..

Regarding PM's pick going to Stokely against the bears.

On NFLNetwork "It was on me, I ran a bad route and drifted up field"

yah, I saw that interview with stokely, hard to know if the INT was really on him or he's just protecting Manning. Regardless, Manning looke ok but still a little rusty. Mentally, he's all there but physically I think he's still working up to the regular season.

Manning seems to throw as many ducks as Tebow. Just sayin'....;)

Where are the tight spirals?

He never threw tight spirals. I remember Marvin Harrison talking about that years ago.

+1
Don't expect them, because you'll be disappointed. Better accuracy and better timing you can expect, and I thought those still looked good for a 1-series preseason opener

He never has thrown tight spirals consistently. His slight wobbles don't curve ball like Teblow's do and they are always on target.

LOL...people poking fun at Manning's passes. Regardless, they're almost always on target and to the open man....

You ever seen those really good pool players when they put english on the ball and make it curve. That is all Manning is doing with his passes.
