How will it be a disaster, exactly? The first episode was fantastic, per usual.

It was a disaster once they chose Miami in the first place.

The ironic thing is DJ Williams with his "alleged" Wizzinator(tm) full of cat pee still has a job in the NFL and Chad gets cut before charges are even filed.

After seeing that episode of Hard Knocks, it didn't really seem like they would have ever been on the same page anyway.

He went to jail for hitting his wife. Thats not on the same level as faking a piss test.

Can't believe what he got away with, their coach seems like a huge pushover (to a WR who has done very little in recent memory no less)

No one saw anything his word against hers. Everyone was ready to run Elvis out of town for pulling a gun on someone when no charges were filed. I'll be interested to see if Chad ever gets charged, I'm guessing not.

Considering Chad recently threatened to get arrested and his overall temperment in TC, lack of elite talent and then hes accused of hitting his dumb bitch of a wife........ hes an easy cut.

Seattle will sign him.

But in all honesty, he doesn't have a track record off the field. Think Miami jumped the gun here, but we don't know what was said between him and the organization after he was released from jail. It's not like I care about him, just seems rushed without any previous off field issues. Anyone here would like to be fired from your job just because of being accused of something? If he is guilty he is guilty, situation just seems rushed.

Theres nothing interesting going on in Miami. Nothing.

"Hard Knocks" is averaging 663,000 18- to-49 year-olds since its Aug. 18 debut, which is 47% better than what HBO drew the Bengals.

They got 870,000 with the dolphins.

Normally I would agree but, with how Chad is I don't. He was pretty clear on how he wanted to be arrested this weekend so I think he has an twisted view of what he is doing.

i don't think they jumped the gun. the HC is new and he pretty much laid down the law in the first episode of Hard Knocks. Johnson was on probation after his press conference where he was dropping f-bombs in front of the media.

that said, i don't think Johnson is necessarily a douche like TO, Keyshawn, Brandon Marshall, or the hundred other "me first" WRs who came before him. i think Johnson sees himself as comic relief and alot of what he's done over the years is more about that than stroking his own ego. i don't know what she did or what he did or why he got arrested, but there is a lesson in this for his future wife/gf...

when Chad Johnson tells you to fix him a goddamned sammich, you fix him a goddamned sammich!

Am I supposed to be impressed when you compare the Dolphins to the Bengals in ratings? The Bengals have no appeal at all.

Ok, lets try this. Hard Knocks averages 663,000 18- to-49 year-olds since it started. That includes the Cowgirls, Jets, Bungals, Ravens and all other teams.

They got 870,000 with the dolphins.

Therefore Dolphins ratings > Average. Which means, you might not care, but the average fan is still watching.

I'm watching and will be interested to see how much play this gets or if they kind of gloss over it as much as possible. I'm not really sure how much control the team/league gets on the finished product. I'm sure they would like to downplay it while HBO would love to focus on it.

i'm going to go out on a limb here and say that she's been plotting and scheming for a payout from Chad since the day they met. whether he headbutted her on purpose or not, i don't know. but she ought to be the poster child for the next crop of NFL draftees in that seminar on how to spot women who are TROUBLE with a capital T.
