Wow, I thought he was on the upswing after his lung transplant. I really never liked him when I first started posting on the mane, but then got to knows him a little through PM's and chatting after he posted about his disease. He was a really nice guy. Shame he went through this all.

Maybe Crazyhorse will hook up with Mock and discuss football in a heavenly way.I'm thinking it would be more like this.

Crazyhorse: Its a classic Mustang, Mock, in Chiefs red.
Mock: How many cats can you fit in the back seat?
Crazyhorse:There is no back seat, yet. I'm still working on it.
Mock:Ah, even better; more cats, and room for a litter box.

RIP boys

Even though we butted heads the last year a few times, for the most part while at the Mane, he was well liked. Just wish he was able to finish his Mustang project.

BTW, I take it CP didnt **** on his grave like they do with so many other non CHief family guys?

All in all, he won't have to suffer anymore. Unlike those other Chiefs fans who won't see a playoff win or even a sniff of a Super Bowl for many moons.

RIP and watch out for that crazy cat guy with a beer in his hand.

I had the same experience with him at 1st but after sharing some PM's we shared some common experiences, were much closer, and respected each other a lot.

Very sad to hear of Crazy's passing he will be missed.

OMG! My heart is broken. Ever since I started the fund raiser for him a few years ago we talked through PM often but not so much in the last year. We still argued on the Mane because he was a buttheaded Chiefs fan but I considered him a friend. I thought things were going well. In my sadness the bright spot is he got that vacation. My heart goes out to his family. I hope his son finishes his car. RIP Crazy.

Gotta say I am proud to have been a part of that. The PM he sent me thanking me was worth every penny. He was a rival fan but we all came together because we are part of the same race, the human race. We are all stuck on this rock together and people need to realize that helping others helps yourself.

RIP Crazy I really hope it's true and there is an afterlife that is full of happiness. If so then see you on the other side. If not then it was a pleasure talking football with you in the time you had.

I didn't like him. He was pigheaded and enjoyed being an ass.

That being said he was a fixture in this community and a rallying point for good for many of the members. Its tough to lose one of our own, even if he didn't embrace the Orange way. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. I know they suffered with him through his health battles.

I hope in heaven he gets to drive the perfect mustang under deep blue skies and down an open highway. Of course, if its orange and the radio only plays Dave Logan play by play, theres no harm in that either.

I met Dan MANY years ago, at a Broncos-Chiefs game, in Kansas City. It was probably the same game that I met Meck77 and Disco Man (and OF1). I want to say that was 2004. Very sad moment once again. Mock was my friend at this place, crazyhorse, not so much. That doesn't mean anything now, he had a sharp mind and his repartee was maddeningly logical. His absence will leave a visible space in the football commentary here, and I will miss him.

RIP Dan. He stopped by a tailgate in KC many years ago. Was on the bus briefly. Very nice guy in person. I've said it a thousand times but there are very real people behind these screens. It's that human connection that is sorely missed when one does not venture beyond these forum walls in my opinion. Think about Dan, Mock and others that have passed that we may not even know about. They are simply names that may no longer appear.

Be kind to one another.......
