Good. Losers. What did they do, sign Larsen just to take him from the Broncos?

I thought they were so happy about their 2 practices against the Saints this week...hate 'em.

Looks like UDFA rookie LB Vontaze Burfict (Arizona State) picked off Tim Tebow tonight.

I'll be interested to see how Burfict plays.

He looked out of position and undisciplined all the time last season, but if he learns to channel his emotions and dedicates himself to playing within a system, he could prove some people wrong and stick around for a while.

I watched him last year and had serious doubts about him, but Marvin Lewis has been pleased with his progress so far.

No doubt. Great arm, accurate, good decisions. He's a whole new man. It really sucked for him that he got thrown into the fire coming right out of a spread offense as a true junior.

Russell Wilson looked pretty smooth tonight.

12/16 passing for 124 yards 1 TD and 1 INT.

3 carries for 59 yards and 1 TD rushing.

The TD pass was a 39 yard pass to Braylon Edwards.

The TD run was 32 yards.

Wilson looked relaxed and poised for seeing his first NFL action....even if it was against 2nd and 3rd stringers.

Yes because the two QB system is a proven winner in the NFL. I mean look at the long list of teams that win with two QBs over the history of the NFL. LOL

Russell is SUCH a great football player. While it's really a tragedy that he's not 4 inches taller, the dumby shouldve had the foresight to get some experience playing safety if he can't take over in Seattle within the next 2-3 years.

Luck is quickly making Indy forget about Manning.

It's funny to think about, because Jax faced Indy at the end of the season. Had they pulled MJD out and bombed it, they wouldn't have to deal with Luck in there division as the Rams would have had #1 overall.

This kid is crazy legit! Who cares if he doesn't have cannon for an arm? As long as he keeps making the right decision most of the time, the kid will own in a couple of year.

What type of year can we expect from him? Well that's up to what his coach wants to run. Having spent all those years with the Ravens, I am positive the run will be involved heavily... but that depends if their defense is able to step up.

Well.... I don't know. I knew that Brock existed like 4 months before the draft. I have known about Luck the past 3 years. We can only hope Brock turns up for the best, but I highly doubt Brock ever reaches Luck's level of play.

I wan't really a fan of his, but i'll have to say that Gabbert is making some nice progress. Two solid performances in a row.

This week, he sticks the Saints defense pretty well. 13 of 16 for 112 yards and 2 TD's. One to Justin Blackmon.

It will be interesting to see where this kid goes, he is making the progress you expect from a young QB.

TheChamp24

Gabbert is terrible. People want to put down Landry Jones, yet Gabbert was a top 10 pick showcasing less than Jones has.

Anyways, last week wouldn't exactly be a "solid performance" from me. 5-10 for 62 yards, 1 TD and 1 fumble.

One situation that looks downright ugly is the QB situation for the Cardinals. My god, I feel sorry for that team and those fans. Kolb is terrible, and Skelton is nothing. Lindley is just a rookie who doesn't offer much right now. If they had a decent QB they would be a playoff team too, just another proof that QB play is so damn important. Since their QB's suck, I predict they pick in the top 10.

I reserve judgement on the Gabbbert situation, but what I receognized is that he is improving as you would expect a second year player to do. I don't see "terrible," but you and I may see different things. Throwing to a crappy receiving corps and getting two TD passes in less than a half seems pretty good to me. Last week, he just played a couple series, so coming away with 62 yards and a TD was pretty much "par" for starting QB's in preseason game 1.

Anyway, as I said, i'm not a Gabbert fanboy, but I think he is developing nicely to start this season. If Blackmon comes along as expected, he might end up better than you think this year.

I would be very discouraged if i were a Cardinals fan also. Now word that Levi Brown might miss the entire season with a triceps tear. Left tackles are pretty hard to come by these days.

To be honest though the majority of the QB's in the league have put up great numbers so far. Preseason is preseason and vanilla D's.
