Do these a-hole scab refs realize they don't get paid by the flag?

Oh stop it man...these refs are no worse than any of the original guys...you know the ones who did their jobs so ****ing well that they called fumbles "tucks" and made instant replay a reality.

Cito Pelon
08-09-2012, 07:05 PM
Wolfe, he gets off blocks well and tackles well, goes for the legs fast and that's good tackling. Good at the point of attack, doesn't give up ground and not much is gonna get by him. Good with his hands to shed blocks. Looks like he's getting double-teamed a lot, more than the other DT. Looks like a good pick.

Derek Wolfe has that natural ability to get to the QB that most good pass rushers have embedded in their DNA.

got better as he played, but still wasnt good
our backup Oline is crap to

Those were not good

Our defense was beasting
Our second string Dline was working their 1st string Oline
what a difference from a year ago

timing was a little off on the pick, I expect rust
but his arm strength looked good

Ya del rio gets the game ball IMO. Has the entire depth chart on D lookin pretty good. As far as Brock, well we went through preseasons before where the QBs looked exactly the same in preseason as they did in regular season. He's a breath of fresh air over the scrubs we've had before.

I realize this is just a first preseason game, but I have wanted an aggressive defense for years for the Broncos. Sure, talent helps, but the stay back and play coverage, soft zone crap just got on my nerves. The best defenses don't scheme that way.

The Bears announcers were talking like WR Dane Sanzenbacher had to stand out in the next few games to make the team.

If they cut him, Denver would be wise to snatch him up with the quickness.

He is the type of gutty, tough and sure handed precise route runner that Peyton Manning loves.

I'd love to see that happen.

As for OKC>lakers, lakers have one year to get this trophy. Howard said he will not sign an extension. So he's a laker for one year only. For them to get Nash and Howard without losing gasol is key. Game over they are 2012-13 champs.

The thing is maybe Cutler didn't need the work but his young receivers sure could have benefited from his playing. But that's Cutler for ya, thinks only of himself. Not a team guy.

If anyone deserved a mulligan it would be Manning. You could not keep him off the field with a chain That's the difference between Manning and Cutler

Xavier Omon stood out to me running the ball. He is a power load at 5'11 and 227 pounds.

7 carries for 36 yards and a TD. 1 reception for 4 yards.

I hope Denver gives him a lot of carries in the preseason as I want to get a better opportunity to evaluate him.

He might be one of those players that sneaks on the roster and kicks ass when give the opportunity.

Lot of guys looked good tonight: Irving, Wolfe, hell the whole defense. Willis and Hill separated themselves, RB is gonna be tough for a possible 4th spot as I figure Ball has #3 due to special teams. Omon looked good, Moreno was okay and Johnson had some nice runs too. At QB, I'd say at the least Brock and Weber need to get looks against the #2s while we can see if Hanie is any better against scrubs. Tonight's game combined with camp cements to me I'd have no problem cutting Hanie and going with the kids.
